We have a great experience with virtual reality from Kaleido. The reactions of our clients were very positive. Most wanted to visit the seaside, but they also showed great interest in the Netherlands and the town of Český Krumlov also celebrated success. Some were so excited about Kaleido that they went on several virtual trips in a row, and we talk about their experiences to this day. Thank you very much for the opportunity to try out the Kaleido virtual glasses.

Due to her health condition, Mrs Zdenka has been confined to her room for the past few years. Kaleido virtual experiences give her the opportunity to leave her room and travel to distant places. She was very moved by the trip to the Karlstejn Castle, she immediately called her family and started telling them about her experience. The trip to Malá Strana in Prague was also a beautiful experience for her due to the fact that she’d lived in Mostecka street for 10 years, and thanks to Kaleido, she could revisit the places where she was very happy and where she gave birth to her children.

Kaleido recently arrived at Dřevčický Park Care Home. Our clients really enjoyed the virtual tours. At least for a moment they forgot about the COVID pandemic. Thank you very much.

We are very grateful for the wonderful opportunity to try out Kaleido in our facility which cares for people with dementia. The Kaleido VR glasses were used as a part of individual activation therapy and the joy from new experiences was our biggest reward. Communication with Kaleido employees was excellent.

During the long winter months, this method of activation therapy was very beneficial for our clients. We highly appreciate the idea behind the Kaleido project. When working with Kaleido, one needs to take the age, illnesses and disabilities of clients into account, mainly due to the different openness of people towards technology. The array of Kaleido virtual experiences is wide, and everyone can find something they enjoy. Cooperation with the company was flawless, the employees were fast and always helpful.

Three months ago, a Kaleido VR headset was delivered to our care facility in Reichenberg. We are still in the phase of learning to operate with the new technology, but it quickly became immensely popular with our clients.

They have already visited places, such as the Czech town of Český Krumlov, the castle Karlštejn and the most iconic landmark of Prague, the Charles Bridge. Also, thanks to Kaleido, they were able to visit cities abroad which they had never visited before, such as Venice, Amsterdam and London.

One client, Mrs. Anna was delighted to visit the town of Český Krumlov for the first time in her life thanks to Kaleido: "I very much liked the overall appearance of the place and the visit of the castle. It's an amazing place to travel to. I think that Kaleido is the future of cinema."

The narrator, Mr. Jakub, comprehensibly
guides the elderly through the travel experiences and draws their attention to interesting things they can see around themselves.

We are very happy that we can mediate virtual travels and walks to our clients via Kaleido and help them take their mind off other things.

Virtual travelling with Kaleido VR glasses is a unique possibility for the elderly to visit places which they used to visit when they were younger. They can reminisce or see how the places changed since their last visit. With Kaleido, the elderly can also travel to places which they thought they might never be able to visit anymore, which often results in some very moving moments. We are very grateful to the Kaleido VR Tours team for giving us the opportunity to participate in this project. Despite some of the elderly generally not being fans of modern technologies, the Kaleido travel experiences left many of them filled with enthusiasm about being able to reminisce and visit distant places. This was particularly important due to the ongoing pandemic which isolated many of the elderly from their families.

With the Kaleido VR, we only have positive experiences. We've been a bit worried about how our clients would react to virtual reality, but we were nicely surprised. We had the greatest experience probably right with our first trip, the Dutch Antwerps. After coming back to actual reality, clients started remembering and speaking about how they had travelled themselves, what they had gone through. Actually, we connected virtual reality with reminiscence. Indeed it's great that there are still more and more trips within Czechia, which is surely a great thing for our elderly.
