Zero Results, Manipulative Tactics, and a CEO Who Blames the Client

I signed up with Kalendar AI to generate leads through outbound email using their “AI-optimized” platform. They promised appointment setting, performance improvement over time, and a rev share on closed business. Here’s what actually happened:

Over 108,000 emails were sent

26,000+ “engagements” (opens or clicks — no substance)

Zero positive replies

Zero booked meetings

The only responses I received were STOP or No

Despite following their optimization process and later adjusting the messaging myself (after weeks of zero traction), I saw no results. When I asked for a refund due to total non-performance, I received evasions, guilt-tripping, and stalling.

But the worst came from their CEO Ravi Vadrevu. After professionally requesting a resolution, he replied:

“It’s unfortunate you are resorting to this threatening behavior. You are asking us to force people to like what you are selling. No one can do that for you… Focus on selling something people want.”

So let’s get this straight:

Their platform underperformed by their own metrics

They refused a refund for a completely failed campaign

Then blamed me, the client, for not having something people “want”

The tone of this response was not just dismissive — it was insulting. It showed a complete lack of accountability, professionalism, or client care.

This wasn’t a bad fit — this was a confidence game wrapped in tech jargon. They sell AI buzzwords, overpromise, and when it fails, shift the blame to the customer.

If you're considering working with Kalendar AI, ask yourself:
Do you want to trust a company that responds to honest feedback and zero results by insulting the people who paid them?

Avoid this platform. Protect your business and your time.

🚨 Update – Data Manipulation + Account Disabled

When I logged in on Monday (04/14/2025), I discovered that my KalendarAI campaign dashboard had been silently altered. Where it had previously shown 26,000+ engagements, it now displayed just 3,060 — a massive revision with no notice, explanation, or transparency.

Even more concerning: my account had been disabled over the weekend after I posted my original review.

Throughout this process, Divya from KalendarAI repeatedly told me to “let the AI do its work,” while downplaying performance concerns by referencing how many days had passed — not the fact that over 108,000 emails had already been sent with zero booked meetings and only STOP or negative replies.

Now, with my account suddenly disabled and campaign data retroactively altered, it appears KalendarAI is attempting to rewrite the narrative — changing the numbers to make it look like the campaign was still in its early stages, and shift the blame to me for being “impatient.”

If this isn’t outright data manipulation, it’s at minimum a deliberate act of obscuring performance failure and avoiding accountability.

This is no longer just a disappointing experience — it’s now a pattern of:

Non-performance

Gaslighting

Retaliation

And possible falsification of results

Let this be a warning to any business owner or advisor considering their platform. Document everything. And proceed with extreme caution.

I've got something to say as a former…

I've got something to say as a former team member.

I'm stepping down to work here as I've a lot of personal thing going on at the moment. We've decided to part way for now

I see a lot of hate about Kalendar AI here, which most of them are not a user.

We send millions of emails per day and there might be some people that just don't like email marketing and leave their comment there.

Of coz there are still a lot of things to improve in Kalendar AI, just like any tech/software/Platform.

If you check any Tech/ AI reviews, they have more hate than love, as people tend to leave comments when they are unsatisfied than when they are happy.

As an insider I might be biased to say this, the whole team is always checking in with clients to make sure they do the right targeting and getting results and if they are not happy with it, Ravi (the business owner) is always the one that who is willing to offer extra help to make things work.

There is a reason why I chose to work with Ravi.

Tech and AI is a really competitive industry, If we aren't good at what we do then we will be out of business in months, and there is no way we can keep scaling for 4 years with 135+ active clients and get funded by some big names.

Spam producer that *REQUIRES* you to…

Spam producer that *REQUIRES* you to explain why you want to unsubscribe from there e-mails. I know spam is a way of life but this is the first time I've seen the audacity of a company to MAKE YOU explain whyo you are unsubscribe from their unsolicited e-mails. unreal.

Utter nonsense

Whoever is spending money with these guys, please stop. I got emails from these guys on behalf of their clients, that are utter nonsense. It is obvious they don't have any idea of how to use AI. One email was offering me my own services... Someone has paid them for this. I've had an email from them congratulating me on everything I've done for women's football... What?!? So yes, please stop spending your money with this company.

SCAM ALERT

SCAM ALERT. They bill you up front on a subscription of $169 while at the same time bill you in the background for $1000s. It wont hit your card until after the first subscription so you dont see it coming until its too late. The control panel hides what they are billing you. They bill you per AI conversation that its spammed on LinkedIn. This costs them nothing and potentially damaged your business as it annoys any potential customers. Already filed a dispute with my credit card company over their billing practice. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Huge Scam - WARNING

Huge, huge scam. Took payment of $235 and a day later sent invoice for meetings I did not have. Their app uses Linkedin data and they spam the hell out of people. This is a terrible fraud and a very expensive one. Keep away or lose lots of money. Clearly the positive reviews are fakes, so corny, so my fault for not looking. Support is near impossible to get and hide far from prying eyes.

Be warned, I wish I was.

Over expensive inaccurate solution

The solution could be better; they are more concerned with selling subscriptions with no refund policy. The solution is not worth the money; it performs very poorly. Please don't add your credit card; it will keep deducting the amount and never refund or cancel the subscription.

Not Worth The Money

Poor performance, the generated AI messaging is inaccurate, lackluster features. More importantly, you don't get anywhere near the posted number of visitors, conversations and meetings - I didn't even see 10%. They kindly offer "help", but when asking for it, the only thing they do is tell you to change your pitch. I spent over $1600 in 3 months, and got 6 meetings scheduled, none of which were even remotely qualified leads. Look elsewhere.

Update 5/13/2024
One more reason to steer clear of kalendar.ai - apparently they pay for 5 star reviews. About 8 months after leaving my review here on trust pilot, I got the following email:

Hi Craig,

I trust this email finds you in good spirits.

I wanted to reach out to discuss our approach to prospect emails. We've found that personalizing our messages for each prospect often leads to better results. This flexibility in adjusting the pitch or target audience has proven successful with our current clients, which is why we typically recommend it. Additionally, you can easily track the number of visitors through the dashboard for transparency and ease of monitoring.

We're willing to go a step further by offering either a complimentary service or a refund of up to $500 of what you've paid. We understand the importance of your satisfaction and are prepared to take steps to ensure it.

In exchange, we kindly request that you consider revising your review to reflect your updated experience as 5 stars.

We eagerly await your response and remain available to address any further questions or concerns you may have.

Regards,
Yashika

Waste of money

We were looking for fashion buyers and I think I can do a better job looking for them manually on Linkedin.

They charge you for every visit, conversation stared and meeting even if the target is not the right one. They helped us to set up everything and after spending more than $500 we close 1 meeting with a supplier instead of a buyer.
It is a good idea, but it didn't work for us.
BTW they do not get responsibility for anything.
