I worked with this Kbizsoft on social media content and strategy and was really impressed. Communication was clear, deadlines were met, and the work was thoughtful rather than generic. I hired Kabeer Kumar through the Upwork freelancer platform. It seems he works at Kbizsoft Sol., so I am reviewing them based on my extremely bad experience with him.

Kabeer will massively overcharge you and not finish the job, leaving you in a frustrating limbo. His conduct is extremely unprofessional and highly dishonest.
Kabeer initially stated this job would take around 10 hours, which was entirely reasonable for an experienced professional. After I hired him, that estimate was suddenly increased to 28 hours. I was suspicious, and suspected he was overcharging. But I thought that it was worth it if he got the job done.
In the end, he billed 43 hours! And he still did not complete the job!
The work, which should have been done in a week, dragged on for a month. In the end, I had to spend many hours of my own time (at least a dozen) fixing bugs, correcting mistakes, and completing work that he should have delivered.
The work he did provide was often careless, poorly thought through, and buggy, regularly creating new problems instead of solving existing ones. At one point, his implementation caused a core page to take nearly 20 seconds to load, which is completely unacceptable for a production website.
Naturally, I asked him to fix the problems he had created. This he did in some cases. But then he used this to justify charging additional hours – as if this was extra work I had asked him to do, rather than corrections to problems he had created himself.
At this stage, it became clear that I could not trust him to act professionally or in good faith. His excessive and unjustified billing put serious financial pressure on a new organisation, and what should have been a short, straightforward project dragged on endlessly. We have had to delay the launch of our website, losing momentum. I lost respect and trust in my team, and we will now have difficulty paying for important expenses going forward because of Kabeer’s selfish and dishonest billing practices.
When I raised legitimate concerns about quality, scope, and billing, Kabeer was unprofessional, evasive, and unwilling to take responsibility for his mistakes. The past few weeks have been a nightmare as he pulls one dishonest, untrustworthy trick after another. The best I can say is that some of his answers have been so farcical they have made me chuckle.
In the end he offered a tiny partial refund of hours – when I accepted, he sent even less hours than we had agreed! Dishonesty is second nature to him.
Based on this experience, I believe Kabeer follows a troubling pattern: he bids low to win contracts, then massively inflates hours, delivers sloppy and incomplete work, and finally offers a small refund in exchange for a positive review. This blackmail tactic would explain how he maintains high ratings despite the reality of working with him.
I strongly recommend avoiding this freelancer. This experience cost far more time, money, and stress than it ever should have.
