Purchased a smart Keurig and stopped working completely within the year
Purchase an other keurig product right after and didn’t last a month.
Absolute garbage products
Call company and they offered 35% off a new one if I decide to buy
$400.00 plus down the drain
I owned several Keurig over the years
I owned several Keurig over the years. Worked okay but not great! The coffee maker gave me a descale message, so I purchased a bottle of Keurig descale solution. Followed the instructions for descaling the coffee maker. While do the final rinse according to instructions the coffee maker drained all the water out without stopping and giving an add water light. The coffee maker shut down and could not power it up again. Contact the Keurig and I was told that the pot was out of warranty and all they want to offer you was a 50% off to buy their product which was twice as much as it was in all the other stores. I explained to them that this was a common thing that happens while descaling and that I did my research and I used their product and follow the instructions and I shouldn't be responsible for the damage to the coffee maker while using their product! They never offered to repair the coffee maker just to replace it at their retail price. It's really sad if this is known problem and there are not any warning or recall .
Keurig is not a reputable company
Keurig is not a reputable company. Like any other company that used to make quality products they have started making their machines to die just after out of warranty. I have 3 Keurig K-Supreme Plus Smart machines all of which died exactly 13 months after plugging in, just one month past warranty. One machine was plugged in and used for 2 weeks as it started to leak, I put it back in the box and 13 months took it out of the box plugged it back in to temporarily use it and as soon as I hit brew it died. The reps state that is unusual for the machines to die but yet I have 3 of same and have read many other reviews with the same complaint. They dont even want them back to test because they know the problem, they are programmed to die just after warranty expired. They are no longer a stand up company and will not honor there products. We need to have there machines inspected and start a class action lawsuit.
Waste of time customer service
Dimensions were off between website and my coffeemaker which arrived. Spoke with someone who said she would send/ email me labels within three days. Spoke to another person days later who said she was escalating it to a manager . It’s now six days later and haven’t received labels. Tried using online contact form and got error code. Chat option doesn’t work . Horrible horrible company.
Terrible K-Duo
Ordered a K-Duo 12/15/24 from Keurig, received 12/17, placed in service 12/24. Desired to replace a fully functional older model and include the ability to brew coffee by the pot when desired. Per the instructions, ran water through the brewer, both single cup and carafe sides, prior to making coffee, but in the interest of ensuring clearance of any manufacturing residue, actually ran 5 full carafes and ~8 12oz singles with just clear water. Each of those brews, both single or carafe, had a strong plastic smell and very noticeable plastic taste. Used it until 12/31, brewing multiple coffee carafes and singles, but poured out the products each time due to the smell and taste, defaulting back to the older Keurig for a reliable brew. Additionally, overnight 12/29-12/30, the curved black plastic "facia band" displaying the Keurig brand name (on the single cup side) popped loose at its upper right corner. Per the website, phoned customer service 12/31 to coordinate a return/refund and encountered a very polite representative for whom English was a second language. Through a challenging conversation, explained the issues. Was placed on hold several times while she consulted with others; a replacement brewer was discussed/offered, but then was asked if I'd be willing to run vinegar through the brewer to potentially improve the brew. Declined and asked for return info/details. Was advised return shipping cost was our responsibility; I'd seen that on their site, but thought they might cover shipping for a defective brewer... Ended up paying $70.93 (had ordered several accessories), but glad get it out of the house. Own both a Keurig single cup brewer and large reservoir model, neither of which had this issue - completely disappointed at the quality of this new product and their very poor customer service. Paid $99.99 for the brewer, added several accessories, total of ~$160 including shipping. Return shipping = ~45% of the overall price... I suppose it's possible this issue (plastic smell/taste) is unique to the specific unit we received, but combined with the unit coming apart at the facia band, would absolutely not recommend this product.
I have owned 2 Keurigs. I will not purchase another.
I have owned 2 Keurigs.
The first died immediately after the "descaling process." I purchased another.
The second Keurig I owned started alerting "DESCALE" within a couple of months. I had always changed the filter on time and used filtered water. This lead me to believe that a "DESCALE" alert simply shows up at a preprogrammed interval, whether the unit actually needs to be "descaled" or not. Since my previous Keurig had a massive failure after the "descale" process, I chose to not descale. I have since found out that many Keurig units have a malfunctioning sensor that alerts to "DESCALE" and then does not recognize the "descale" process and continues to alert to "DESCALE" even after the descale process has been performed.
I currently only use my Keurig unit when I have a lot of guests who want coffee. It is efficient.
I use a glass coffee press otherwise and it is easy and tastes delightful, as well as being much more environmentally-friendly.
Comment to Keurig: Due to your lack of attention to fix your product deficiencies and your "outsourced" customer service lines, you've lost me as a customer.
The company has gone so far downhill…
The company has gone so far downhill it's hard to see up. The customer service is terrible, the website doesn't work when you try to contact them via email, the coffee maker just purchased is already rusting in one of the parts, it's just so sad to see a once pretty good company become crap.
2 dead within 18 months, no warranty.
Honestly, don't waste your money (even on the Black Friday sales). I had 2 machines that just completely quit, mid brew. The screen went off as well as all lights and it would not come back on. It was just under a year and a half old. When I called Keurig they apologized and said "it sometimes happens and we don't know why". I asked if they wanted my machines to diagnose the issue, but they declined. I was offered a 30% coupon for a new one (less than the sale going on at the time and it couldn't be combined with the sale). I ended up going to another brand.
Look, I'm a reasonable person, I understand things go wrong. But stand by your product, make it right with loyal consumers, and try to improve. I loved my Keurig while it worked and I would tell friends and family to buy them too. I now won't buy another or recommend to anyone.
Keurig Scams
Apparently Keurig sells used machines on their site and claims they are under warranty for one year. However, after purchasing a used Keurig, it only worked six times in less than one year. When I used their warranty claims form, they said they could not help me because the machine was purchased used. Beware of this scam!! This is poor quality from this company.
Poor Customer Support
Call customer support there are out of the country I sent email to support regarding the burner chipping on my Keurig I have two service case numbers says they will respond in three days they haven't. The tech people you talk to don't have a clue what they are doing I explained the problem 5 times the person still didn't get it. Don't buy their products the don't support them. I have two support request numbers that have not been answered by keurig. Worst company I have had to deal with.
Don,t waste your money
Purchased the new and improved version of the Keurig Duo on 25 November Black Friday sale this year. Other duo did not make it 5 years. Planned obsolescence. Registered the product. It died in three weeks. Regrettably, threw away the receipt. It was registered so should not have been an issue. Called Keurig. Be warned, like most American corporate structures, customer service was outsourced instead of hiring Americans. Can barely understand these folks. Was told that they would send me a new unit. Lack of a receipt was not a problem. Asked for clarification making sure I understood her correctly. She affirmed her no receipt and full warranty statements. They lied. Got an email disallowing everything that been promised. First phone call to supervisor, no response. Scheduled two more supervisor phone calls. One came in at 10 at night, the other several hour’s late the following evening. Yes, they knew the time zone.
Would not budge. Yet last summer, replaced our daughters without a receipt. Had it not been for the young lady at Kohls(thank you Kohls!), we’d have another useless piece of Chinese junk taking up the local landfill. Eventually, Keurig claims they will send us a new one. We’ll see.
Keurig is a horrible company. Their customer service is sub-substandard. When this junk runs out of warranty and gives up its ghost, will be the last product we purchase from these clowns.
Just received my mini Keurig
Just received my mini Keurig. Does not work. Did the trouble shooting, Does not work. Called Keurig several times and had garble from a non English speaker. Perhaps the phone equipment is bad, I would not doubt it. Go elsewhere for coffee brewing.
Ordered pods on Nov 27 and it shows…
Ordered pods on Nov 27 and it shows shipped UPS but never sent. Called customer service twice and no one can give me an answer as to why they haven’t shipped. They sent a coupon for two free boxes that’s useless if they don’t ship. Stay away from Keurig!
Keurig blames Walmart for selling me an unauthorized, used Keurig.
Purchased a Brew and Chill from my local Walmart 10/23/24, it broke 12/09/24. It didn't even last two months. I filed a manufactures warranty claim this afternoon and submitted the serial number and a photo of the original Walmart receipt as instructed. I received an email from Keurig this evening stating my claim was denied because of the following: My serial number is not valid. (It is on the back of the damn machine.) Proof of purchase is not valid. Proof of purchase shows a purchase date outside of the 1-year warranty. Proof of purchase states brewer was purchased "Used." Proof of purchase provided is not from an authorized retailer. I called the Walmart I purchased it from and the on-duty manager denied they sold used Keurigs to their customers and were certainly an authorized retailer. I opened a dispute with my credit card and hopefully they will take care of me. This was my first Keurig, and I will NEVER, EVER buy another Keurig again.
The worst customer service in the world…the worst company to do business with
The worst customer service in the world I ordered coffee on 12/03 and because they have 3 warehouses It was 3 different shipments and still haven’t gotten the 3 rd box which they can’t find in there system. Of course they farmed out customer service to another country with the people being too stupid to listen to what an American is saying to them. Never again will I have anything to do with the Keurig company
I don’t even want to give one star
I don’t even want to give one star, but that is not an option. We purchased a k supreme + coffee brewer last January. I called Keurig and they informed me that I was just out of warranty, so they were unable to replace it. I asked that they send me their basic/ cheapest model just so we could have coffee and we would send the broken Supreme + back to them as proof that it broke and all they offered us was all the same discounts and offers that anyone can purchase online off their website. Never purchasing a Keurig machine again! Thanks for nothing Keurig.
Horrible company and there is…
Horrible company and there is absolutely no customer service whatsoever.
I have been doing their auto ship for several years, but this one was shipped to another address in another city .
I have called 12 times to customer service and all they can do is tell me someone will call me back. They’re reading from their script and they are unable to speak English very well at all.
Still no return call from anyone so the only option I have is to dispute the charges on my credit card. Hopefully Discover will remove it.
worst service around
worst service around. they farm out to india and everyone struggles. it took 6 hours to register my latest coffee msker, and the bot is brokem
Poor product and service
I bought a express kuering at Walmart and it only lasted for 5 cups of coffee. I paid cash and lost my receipt so they did nothing to help me. I think to keep customer loyalty they could have had me return it and see that it was a new machine and offer a replacement but they did nothing. They did confirm that I have a machine that does not work
The convenience is not worth the price…
The convenience is not worth the price or the environmental impact. We have owned at least 4 Keurig coffee machines. They consistently fail in 1-2 years, and Keurig does not stand behind the product. Warranty is for one year, and there is no repair or recycle service. We are just one household, but in less than 6 years, we are now responsible for 4 hunks of plastic and metal going into the landfill plus about 10,000 k-cups. Never again.
