This is the first time I've ordered a custom holster and belt (think it was called a Mexican loop). Researched a lot and settle on Kirkpatrick as a very fine company. The order process - in take was confusing. But, I had my measurements and called the company. I wanted a very nice holster/belt and this was going to cost ~$700. The woman I spoke with advised me on the belt size and I listed my firearm, i.e. a Freedom Arms 83. The belt was too small and the firearm did not fit properly. Spoke with a higher level up and they said they would have recommended a longer belt (not good now) and sent pics of the firearm getting hung up on the sights. He argued it fit when it was about a 1/2" shy of seating properly. Sad but terrible experience. They did refund the entire purchase after a fight (where I would have called my credit card company). But the ordering process was simply terrible for a new customer.

Great quality holster and seems exactly what was ordered. Fits newer model pistol. Downside is that the holster does not release the firearm very easily. And is very hard to draw pistol from the holster. Have wrapped the pistol to try and expand the holster to see if that helps or not and also doing multiple draws. But as holster releases very hard may take awhile.

Great product. Very happy with the craftsmanship. Shoulder holster is very comfortable, my Walther fits perfectly. And the customer service was great!

The holster construction and quality of the leather is very good, however, the fit for the weapon is not. It is beyond snug, to the point that the gun barely fits into the holster without having to force it in. At this point, the holster is unusable, and to me, doubtful that it would open up enough to be useful in the future.

I have been aware of Kirkpatrick's Leather Company for at least 20 years. When I wanted a quality, custom holster and belt rig for my Ruger Blackhawk 357 magnum I researched for several months online, looking at dozens of leather work companies. My search kept bringing me back to Kirkpatrick's. I was not disappointed in their product's quality when it came in the mail just short of three weeks after ordering it. It is perfectly sized to my waist and fits my pistol like a glove. It is a beautiful work of art which I will someday pass on to one of my children. I would order from them again.

I ordered the US Marshal holster for a set of Ruger 357 mag New Vaquero Pistols and the Deputy Marshal holster for a Colt Double Eagle 45. The holsters were hand tooled and the workmanship was excellent. The holsters look beautiful and fit perfectly. This was money well spent. I would highly recommend this company for any leather gear you would need.

I have ordered 2 cowboy gun belts and 2 shotgun belts. They all came fast and looked beautiful. I only had them a few months with no problem.

Purchased a 2020 holster for my new Colt Python 4.25" from overstock. Arrived quickly with excellent quality. Fits tight, but I'm working on that, keeping gun in plastic bag to stretch leather to fit gun a little looser. Want to shoot this in IDPA matches. This holster holds the revolver a little lower on belt than a lot of other makers.

When I got the belt in the mail, it looked beautiful however, only a day later, I noticed the leather was separating in the sides of the belt behind where it buckles. That was very disappointing for the money I paid for it. I thought this would last me years. It it doesnt appear it will.

It is a beautiful holster. It fits a few of my jframes.
