I placed an order for a book that was neither delivered nor repaid in full
I placed an order for a book that was supposed to be delivered to Germany. Unfortunately, the seller used the billing address instead of the delivery address I provided, and as a result the package was never delivered.
Even worse, I did not receive a full refund paid for the book, despite the mistake being on their side.
I contacted them on WhatsApp, but the responses were unhelpful and did not resolve the issue.
Based on this experience, I will avoid placing an order with them in the future.

Great delivery service, but bad paper quality
Great delivery and service, however, terrible print quality. I've recently bought a book (Fiqh al Sunnah, by Al-Sayyid Sabiq). When the book arrived, the edges were slightly damaged, and paper quality is appalling. The paper is super thin and basically see through, and on the day the delivery was made, it was a humid/slightly rainy day, and the humidity caused the paper to bend slightly/be wavy. Insha'allah they find either a better paper quality, or improve the paper quality.
However, overall, the book itself is in great shape, and everything is readable.

My association with Kitaabun is for last 13 years. In early 2010, as a young man with passion for Islamic books (English translation) it was very difficult to source books with limited budget. While searching I accidentally stumbled up this beautiful unbiased store which sold every book under the sun. They’ve the best customer service and by far cheapest shipping rates (my recent purchase - Sufism and imams, cost me less than Amazon) when compared with any book store on the market. I genuinely believe they are not here to make profile but serve deen. Have used them and was very pleased with both service and international delivery.
Well priced and good customer service.
However, they need a modern and more interactive website. Very outdated and not in line with current standards of modern webistes.
