Excellent service from start to finish
All communication was answered fully and swiftly. Ordering was easy and I did make a quick phone call. I requested samples of the colours I thought I would like and when I finally chose the 2 I wanted I ordered and paid for 2 sample doors. I chose the Cappuccino high gloss (kitchen) and antique rose Matt( bathroom). The sample door for the cappuccino was totally different from the swatch, much lighter and I hesitated about going forward but decided too. However, when the doors arrived they were nearly identical to the Swatch, so I was pleased I did. Delivery itself was excellent. A day was given, then 24 hours beforehand a 3 hour time slot. The doors arrived just after 9am and we're extremely well wrapped/ protected. Can't fault the service.Really good quality and I must say, extremely reasonable. I was quoted £1400.00, for the same doors by a local company. I paid just over £400.00.
As long as I did my measuring correctly and my husband fits them right, then there should be no problems.

Ok for a quick refresh but they don't last!
Initially we were very pleased with our replacement kitchen doors and they did look good. However, about a year after the warranty ran out (end of 2023) we noticed that on a few of the doors the vinyl was coming loose (delamination).
I contacted Homestyle and was told that once this occurs, there is unfortunately no long term solution for fixing the doors as the vinyl is originally wrapped onto the doors using glue and a lot of heat.
We lived with this for a while but now this is happening on many of the doors and the edges are splitting as well. You cannot glue them as we tried that on one of the edges and it went all bumpy.
So, these doors are fine for a quick refresh but don't expect them to last much longer than the 6 year warranty.
I was offered a discount for replacing them but they are clearly not fit for purpose.
*** Update after reply from Homestyle: I just wonder why I was not told that this was an industry-wide issue when I first contacted you in January 24 and I have never yet been told what the discount is that you are offering. Although I have more doors, drawers, plinth now affected.
Just a pity I hadn't ordered my doors a year later as the problem would have been fixed by then and I wouldn't be in this position.

Thank you for your review. We're pleased the doors looked great and performed well for many years.
Your doors were supplied in June 2016 with a 6-year warranty, and the peeling first appeared towards the end of 2023, around seven and a half years later.
Delamination on doors of that era was an industry-wide issue. Changes to adhesive formulations, driven by European rules removing VOCs, meant the glues used at the time could react very slowly with the MDF core over a number of years. Manufacturing switched to a two-part adhesive in 2017 and we have not seen a single case of delamination on doors made since, so replacement doors ordered today are a very different product to those made a decade ago.
Our repair advice was simply honest. The vinyl is bonded under heat and pressure in a vacuum press, and once it lifts there is no adhesive that can recreate that bond at home, which is why attempted fixes go bumpy.
We have supplied doors online since 2007 with very few problems. The warranty is the minimum we stand behind, not the life we expect from the product, and most of our doors serve well far beyond it.
With your doors well outside warranty, the discount we offered on replacements was the fairest help we could give, and it remains open should you wish to take it up.

Our kitchen didn't warrant a complete replacement, all the carcasses were fine. Door replacement only. Initially visited Homestyle to see quality and colours. Once decided we measured the existing doors and ordered online. All arrived perfect and on the day agreed. So easy, would absolutely recommend. Saved a fortune on new kitchen prices.

We have had Bifold doors from Homestyle in Ipswich completed in 2 days without any problems, both guys were clearly experience and were very professional both Brandon and Dan completed the doors as well as replacing a couple of windows and Cement Boards

Another faultless transaction
I have previously used Homestyle when our kitchen was done but a change in size for one of the carcasses meant a new door but with a custom size. Needless to say we got the same quality as our original order and another faultless transaction.
Our order contained some backing adhesive but already had some vinyl sheet from our first order. They noticed we didn't order any Vinyl so double checked prior to putting the order through. Little touches like this is why they have 5 stars on here. This is our go to company without hesitation and routinely recommended to friends and family.
