resolved delivery issue

We had an issue with photos that had gone missing, between Kittle, the school and home. I contacted Kittle and Callum from customer services was straight on to it and reordered the photos to be sent directly to our house. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome and within a very short period of time.

Purchased hoodies fro a school trip…

Purchased hoodies fro a school trip from Kittle. Excellent communication. The goods arrived exactly when promised and were of excellent quality. School badge embroidered to high quality and pupil names printed across the back. The pricing surprised me, literally 3/4 cost of what had been quoted for like for like products by other companies.

Waste of time , terrible quality , my son not look natural photos look like taken by unprofessional person that’s a joke my son first infant school phono and terrible quality plus so expensive .

I will conplain to school also about it .

Just received my son’s first reception…

Just received my son’s first reception photo and it is awful! His eyes are closed on it and they only took one! Never in my life have i heard of a photographer only using one image for a parent to choose from and charge £20 for a download. I have never not bought photos of my son before but this will not be getting purchased! I have also complained to the school about the awful picture. Edited: I emailed the company and they have got back to me and said they will do it again next time they are at the school so they have tried to rectify the problem

Extremely disappointed with Kittle…

Extremely disappointed with Kittle photography. Our daughter’s first year 7 secondary photo absolutely ruined by them not telling her to straightening her tie. I complained and to be told only one photo was taken. I have never had a photography company only giving parents one photo to choose from. A absolute awful company. The lady that tried to help me was genuinely lovely but who ever took the photo needs to get a new job!

To add to your reply, the lab checked and there wasn’t an alternative photo, if you take one that’s what happens also not once while I was complaining was an editing service mention and I highly doubt that’s true and lastly teacher or staff are not in front of the child while the photo is getting taken, so the fault lies with the photographer who should of been more observant before snapping the photo, and to check the image on the camera before moving to the next child.

Our photographers are generally unable to comment on or adjust a child’s appearance during the session, as we aim to avoid causing any upset or offence. We rely on the staff helping on the day to assist in ensuring the children are photograph-ready.
Typically, only one photograph per child is taken, often due to time constraints because of the high number of children to be photographed and to ensure that the children’s academic timetable is not disrupted.

If I could give zero stars I would.
This company must be a scam. There is no way they can be so incompetent for so many years. They basically have a monopoly, if you want school or class photos you have to use them. I stopped buying individual photos a long time ago due to the poor quality and just plain poor photography skills. Their website is a joke, it’s the worst user experience I have seen in decades! You have to wait days for an email to change password. This is the last year I will buy anything! It’s a shame but just not worth the aggravation.

Another year another horrible dull…

Another year another horrible dull photo… very poor quality of work yet expensive. Wish our school changed this company! First of all there should be provided a few photos to choose from as it is impossible all students look perfect in one photo, there will always be someone who closes their eyes or look in different direction (unless the photographer is patient and engaging and takes time to get the perfect shot), the backdrop and lightning are terrible. Also, automatically should be provided a digital copy.
This year they did not add the class name which means the frame is different from what they were in the previous years.
Despite so many negative comments there seems to be no improvement year by year.

Please note that the number of photos taken, the backdrop, and the overall style are agreed upon in advance with the school. Our photographers always aim to capture the best possible image for every child within the time available.
We appreciate your suggestion to offer more than one photo to choose from however this does depend on the school’s preferences and scheduling.
Regarding the missing class name on the frame this year, this detail is part of the school's booking choices. We provide schools with a range of options, and we're sorry if this wasn't consistent with previous years.

Yes another totally disastrous…

Yes another totally disastrous experience with Kittle.
School slips were late, despite me chasing with Kittle and the school.
When received, both children were either on the floor or standing on the knees... Contacted Kittle to gauge if any other s were taken so we could at least have a better versions for ourselves, to which after two weeks I was given a negative.
Now I learn that school delivery is only available within 21 days from the day the photos taken, not from the day they have been received by us parents. So on top of nearly £20 per cheapest option I would have to pay £5 delivery charge. To add, they won't do anything about it. So clearly out custom is not important.
Shocked they are still in business.
To add, of course there is a lengthy process of ordering - no option to order as a Guest so you have to create an account and enter all your data (happy data mining!) only to be told there is no free delivery available. Separate issue with requesting data removal.
Overall, least customer friendly company we have encountered.

The pose and style of photographs taken are agreed upon with the school in advance. If no alternative shots were taken on the day, we’re unfortunately unable to offer replacements — though we understand how disappointing this can be.
Regarding the 21-day school delivery window, we apologise if this wasn’t made clear and will look into ways we can communicate this better.
We also appreciate your feedback on the ordering system. Creating an account allows easy access to past photos for future reorders, though we understand it may not be ideal for everyone.

Great customer service over phone

Class photos can always be a challenge, and when we phoned Kittle up to explain that our child's face was blocked, they found another version, printed and posted to us free of charge.

Unfortunately the photo arrived damaged by shipping due to folding and jamming the letter through a small mailbox hole. Kittle was kind enough to reprint and send another copy free of charge.

10/10 customer service.

Terrible print quality

Terrible print quality, Terrible photography. Horrible white back ground.
I paid for a cardboard frame only for it to be further ruined with company logo on the front corner.

As for the white background, this is a decision made by the school, and unfortunately, we’re unable to make changes to that aspect of the photograph.
In terms of the logo on the frame, we include this detail clearly in the product images online so customers are aware prior to purchasing. However, we rest assured that your feedback has been noted and we will pass this onto the relevant departments to ensure that this is clearer for customers.

Continual disappointment

For the last three years I have been met with disappointment for both of my children’s class photo and individual photo. It’s like the photographers don’t think about what they are doing. Just received my daughters year 6 class photo and honestly I’m sad and again disappointed, not only for me but for her as this is her last year at primary and this is what we are receiving. Not even a whole class photo, split into small groups of 3 and 4 and then all put into one photo like a collage. Not impressed at all. Overpriced and terrible photos!

We haven't received the printed class…

We haven't received the printed class picture for over a month, which is also overpriced! They don't care how the child looks in the picture, and they don't fix any minor mistakes in the pictures! (sticker on the sweater) The color of the digital picture is horrible, but at least it can be downloaded immediately!

Poor work quality

This company does pictures for the school. Once a year they come to take pictures. Few years ago there were 3 pictures to choose from, now only one shot, for £18 digital copy. They never check if the kid is keeping their normal face or something is wrong with their clothes. 2 years a a row pictures go terribly wrong. The kid does not look himself on the picture and everyone say so. Also I could not get a picture of my own kid last year, reached out to them, they said contact the school, school said that KP should have given me access etc. in the end I have no pictures or even chance to see them. I would be much happier if they will have one class photo and one portrait.

After some email tennis it transpired that I had made a typo on my email address.
Hayley Martin was helpful, patient and even phoned me to ensure everything was ok.
