Recently used KMC Legal for the sale of our property and couldn’t have asked for a better service. Was kept in the loop each step of the way. Special shout-out to Lisa who made sure everything happened when it needed to, despite some issues with the other side, Lisa and her team stepped up and got it sorted. Would happily use again!!!

I recently used KMC legal for the sale and purchase of my property’s. Rachael was fantastic throughout and without her being on the account I believe the whole chain would have fell through. Rachael went far beyond her remit to keep everything on track, and if everyone in the chain was as diligent and efficient as Rachael then we wouldn’t have had the issues we had.
I would have no hesitation in recommending KMC legal and Rachael in particular.

Conveyancing: Terrible experience with Lorna and Emily. 12 weeks after receiving a draft contract and management pack for a flat purchase I am still unable to exchange contracts. Attempts to contact them via email or phone have been unsuccessful. I would advise anyone reading this to avoid KMC Legal for conveyancing as they charge top-end fees for subpar services.

Lisa Neary's team was amazing for my property purchase, so responsive and on the ball. Best solicitor's I've ever used, I would definitely recommend and use KMC Legal again thank you.

KMC Legal acted for the sale of my home, recommended by Move Residential in Allerton. It proved difficult to get responses from the 3 different solicitors, and I received a small financial payment in recognition of this. Since then the Final Account was received, raising further questions which have been ignored over 4 months, including a Formal Complaint. KMC should review their procedures, and admit to past failings.

I used Rachael Moore at KMC and her effort in this sale was second to none. I wasn't in the best situation but she put everything into making the sale go through as quickly as possible and despite being stuck in the middle of a chain, managed to communicate with the full chain to keep everyone in the loop. Had a few set-backs which were out of her control but she handled these well and managed my expectations with these also. Her communication to me was also great as I had never bought a house on my own before so she talked me through the process at each stage. Would 100% recommend

The whole team have been fantastic, Lisa Natalia and Suilin have been dealing with sale and they have been brilliant. Nothing is too much trouble, their replies are timely and even when they have been waiting to hear from the other side they have kept in touch with me to let me know. I have been so supported and looked after I am so grateful to the whole team. I highly recommend them especially if you feel nervous or out of your depth with the legal side their customer service is impeccable and I can’t thank them all enough.

Constant, frequent and helpful updates helped selling my house super easy.

I am very happy with the service I received while selling my house. They did it efficiently and professionally. The best thing I liked was the communication, they regularly updated me and when you rang there is always someone to help. My case was dealt by Saika Rayan and I will highly recommend her.

Our sale was agreed in April .
We still have no completion date, despite being told that by using this company, it a would be a quicker and less stressful sale.
We have found out that despite being told delays were due to the management company of the the flat we were selling not responding to questions that were asked, that KMC Legal did not look at the reply they receive for approx. 28 days. We are wondering how many times this has happened.

thinking of using this company think twice

I have been dealing with Lorna Ferguson for about 6 years. She is so experienced and always gives regular and detailed updates. I am a mortgage broker and Lorna is my preferred contact for all things legal & property related. I recommend her to all my clients. Cannot praise Lorna highly enough. 5 stars!

Ben and the team were brilliant throughout. They made an arduous process very simple. Most importantly they communicated throughout, updating me at each important point and answered my questions quickly.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others.

The main problem, I believe, is that they have a high turn over of staff. During my period, I think, I went through three. Each time my case is being picked up and then forgotten about when that person leaves and case officers are number pressure to complete hence errors are being made.

1) Registered and provided them the necessary documentation. They subsequently sat on it for 1 month even when my estate agent were chasing for an update…his emails were ignored.
2) They picked up the case and requested further info from me. Once provided they again sat on the case until I chased them 2 weeks later.
3) No support was provided translating the covenants into normal English. Once pushed for the a translation it contained a number of errors.
4) They give the impression they are not working for you as they offer various insurances like covenants and insurance in case my annual rent had not been paid. These insurance would not been needed if they translated the covenants correctly and reviewed the invoices provided showing my accounts with the management company were upto date.
5) They keep re-requesting information I had already provide like mortgage numbers and consent to assign application
6) I receive questions, I would answer and then they would repeat the same question.
7) I received multiple witness signature request when I only require one witness….i must be registered twice in their system

As first time buyers it can be quite overwhelming digesting so much information but Rachael was always on hand to answer our questions, explain things thoroughly and always very quick responses. Rachael has been so on the ball for us to get our purchase pushed through.. we can’t thank you enough top class service.

KMC were extremely efficient throughout the process and made everything straightforward which really helped us. Any queries we had were responded to very quickly. The staff were really helpful and friendly, thanks to Lisa and all the team for making it as pain-free as possible.

KMC Legal were proactive pushing the process along putting pressure on the seller's awkward management company to make sure I was protected. Communication from the team was concise and frequent. Reassuringly calm and knowledgeable advisors who had my interest at the forefront. Always approachable. I would really recommend them if you are buying a property!

As a first time buyer I was unfamiliar with the process. KMC called me up after I requested a quote to explain further, after I instructed a member of the team called me to make introductions then I was kept informed and updated throughout the process by Lisa and her team. Very good service and with very friendly and helpful staff from instruction through to completion.
The only thing I can faulter is the automatic updates on the case you receive through email at various milestones stopped updating for me about halfway through, but I was still thoroughly updated by members of the team.
Excellent service and I would't hestiate to use again.
