I’ve been sharpening my own knives for 50 years since I learnt as an apprentice butcher.A recent hand injury has left me unable to do this so I decided to try knife sharp. I sent five good quality kitchen knives via their excellent postage and packaging service and all returned with a professionally honed edge and all passed the paper cut test straight out the box .im very happy with the result and would not hesitate to recommend the service although if you don’t know how to maintain an edge and abuse your blades your never going to keep them in good condition .I’m several weeks in now and with the help of the chantry knife sharpener and a good butchers steel my knifes are still razor sharp. The staff at Knife Sharp were really helpful from start to finish. The ease of sending blunt knives off to be sharpened and receiving back super sharp knives couldn't be easier. I sent off three knives two Sabatier Knives which I have had for 37 years and an Asian Global Cleaver which I have had for 18 years and chipped a big chunk off the edge trying to prize open a couple of frozen sausage. The Cleaver is now useable again and I am very satisfied with it and the bread and chefs knives are back to top spec. I also tried a knife to put me on which are top class. Thanks again. Simon

What a great service, the knives I sent arrived at the company on Friday and they arrived back on the Monday. They were returned sharp enough to shave with.

Very Good Knives were returned promptly in very well thought out packaging. The knife edges came back with very professionally look. Carving was a dream again.

Couldn't have been easier (1) they send a box complete with blade protectors (2) fill the box, drop the box off at a parcel shop (3) 5-7 days later knives returned beautifully sharp. One of my knives had the tip broken off, these guys gave it a new edge and know it's fully functional and beautifully sharp. thoroughly recommend.

Excellent. Box arrived within 2 days of ordering. Simple and clever concept and the knives were returned 10 days later, sharper than when we first bought them. We had 3 Sabatier knives and one Füri knife in need of new edges, between 3 and 16 years old and all feel brand new.

My global knives came back sharper than new, I could see a new edge on the knives and they are now super sharp, perfect

Fabulous service. Had a large set of Global knives as a wedding gift and had given up on getting them sharpened locally. Came back as new from Knife Sharp with one repaired. Easy to use, good value service. Spent first hour just chopping salad because they were so good

Fantastic even created a point that had sheared off one of my Global knives. The knives are sharp and useful after a series of bad experiences with sharpening them leaving the wrong angle on the blade. I would recommend using the sharpening service.

It was so easy booked 5 knives for sharpening . Received all instructions packaging pre paid postage stickers in post . Within 5 working days got them back sharpened beautifully . Use them with confidence 1st class service

Great communication and helpful, not to mention quick. Oh, and the knives are sharp as well.

Unfortunately we sent 3 knives to knifesharp, and we were very upset to see that 2 of them had deep scratches upon their return.
These knives were a gift, and due to the pattern on the blades, the scratches are very noticable.
The knives also returned barely any sharper than when we sent them.
Knifesharp offered to polish out the scratches, but due to the previous damage caused using this service we declined the offer after some thought. (They suggested they might have been damaged during the transport, which was sent in the packaging provided exactly as the instructions said.)

As we didn't take photos of the knives before we sent them (Something I found is a requirement in the small print T's and C's on the website after they had been returned) there was no option for even a refund, let alone compensation.
I suggest that Knifesharp should be far more transparent and advise that this should be done on the instructions that come with the packaging to avoid this happening in the future, as now we are out of pocket, our product is damaged and there is nothing we can do.

Sent 3 knives in varying states, all 3 came back razor sharp and better than new. Simple mail order service, both quick and efficient. This is a great way to keep knives sharp and save old knives.

From start to finish the service was very quick , straightforward and professional. The knifes are like new now and we are so happy with them ! We will definitely use this company again . Excellent service 😊
