Before starting the journey of selling and buying I was told by everyone that I would need to “chase my solicitor daily” and that the solicitors are the biggest headache of it all. I however had the pleasure of Knight Richardson and Abdul Miah, nothing I asked was ever a problem, I never had to chase and was always kept up to date. The sale and purchase frustratingly (through no fault of KR) went on for 6 long months, but knew Abdul would be chasing and fighting my corner. I cannot put into words how much easier the process was with Abdul supporting from start to finish.
Equally the quote was very reasonable for both sale and purchase.
Hopefully I won’t be moving any time soon, but if I did I would only ever use Knight Richardson.

Fantastic experience!

My house sale has taken a while due to other solicitors within my chain. Knight Richardson have been fantastic and had a brilliant sense of urgency.

Thanks to the efforts of Kirsti, Afra and Megan everything managed to get exchanged today even though the other firms within the chain didn’t seem interested.

I also remortgaged with Knight Richardson (Adam and James) earlier in the year and everything was extremely smooth with that experience too.

You definitely get what you pay for!

DO NOT CHOOSE THEM.

We chose Knight Richardson based on these reviews and the initial quote. I reckon most of these reviews are fake.

The initial quote was 1500. The total we paid was closer to 2800. The fee grew because of extra costs. The extra costs could have been included in the initial quote based on the information we gave at the start, such as extra fees linked to the mortgage, the leasehold, the requirement to get extra documents... THEY ARE LIARS.

Files were sent to us as dumps rather than incrementally, with no guidance to help us navigate it. Message exchanges were sent to us in file formats we couldn't open. We had to call regularly to get an update on progress, we'd be told something is coming soon, and this is what we'd get.

We are foreign nationals and required some documents translated. They provided some misleading information in a pedantic fashion about what would qualify as an admissible translation.

We felt like we were treated like we were idiots because we are young and foreign.

On a positive note, they would answer our calls and were rather quick towards the end of the sale. But I have to give 1 star to compensate for all the fake reviews.

My friend recommended me to use this company and they recently helped me with the purchase of my new home. From start to finish they have been great and I experienced an amazing service from the wonderful Afra Khan. She was very professional but also helpful and very understanding in her dealings with me. It proved to be a difficult purchase with lots of legal issues and wranglings, but Afra was always available and happy to discuss anything that I asked, in fact I was able to build a great rapport with her, which really isn’t always the case, when dealing with companies nowadays! I Would definitely recommend Afra and knight Richardson to my family and friends, and will use them again with out hesitation with any future purchase.
