My tour was very well organized with each day packed with Irish experiences I would not have be able to do on my own. Both the tour guide and coach driver took every opportunity to add to our experience. The workshop with Carol Feller was fantastic. I have been a hard core knitter for about 25 years and still learned a ton from this workshop.

What a fantastic experience! We visited so many interesting stores, had fabulous workshops by such skilled teachers and shopped shopped shopped - until we all said NO MORE YARN! (what knitter ever says that??)
Hotels were 4* +. Meals were excellent. The coach was very comfortable. Our guide, Cecilia, was remarkable with her fountain of knowledge about every thing we saw!
Trip of a lifetime, for sure. Would definitely travel with knitting tours.com again!

This was a wonderful trip. I enjoyed the classes and the history of knitting. Our hotels were great and in good central locations. And our meals were very good too.

We saw beautiful scenery, stops and presenters were great. Bobby our driver was fabulous! June the tour director was blah (not excited, detached and strangely not a knitter) Hotel in Edinburgh was nice and clean. Hotel in the Shetland Islands was dated, dirty and needed repairs. Meals were ok - 4 nights of the same Shetland hotel evening meals was excessive.

Some wonderful memories and moments - but at this price point expected much more especially an animated, educated tour director.

Beware!! Get Private Travel Insurance. NO cancellation/postponement of your trip within 2 months.

The whole tour was carefully planned and executed! Every day was an adventure with awesome workshops and lectures and a few non-fiber stops along the way. Our tour manager, June, and our coach driver, Bobby, were kind, helpful and knowledgeable about the areas we passed through. The accommodations were all very comfortable and the meals we were served were great. I had a wonderful time and will be booking another tour in the future.

I had an absolute blast on this trip. They organized everything from pick-up and drop-off at the airport to all the tours. I really liked that all I had to do was show up. The tour guide and bus driver were marvelous and the entire experience was worth every penny. The hotels and food were fantastic. I highly recommend going on a Knitting Tour if you get the chance.

This was my first international tour and I could not have asked for a better experience. From their quick responses to questions to the actual tour everything went smoother than expected. I enjoyed every minute and would highly recommend this amazing tour company.

We had a great informative guide who had a sense of humor, and a lot of inside information re areas we visited. The driver Paul was friendly, had lots of water available, and a few “sweeties”, he wore his tartan one day, which we all loved. He was a safe driver and could manipulate the bus in tight corners. There were a variety of venues that took in the various tastes of the gals. I loved visiting a Croft seeing the sheep, and interacting with the Shetland ponies. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I learned a lot about Scotland and the Shetlands, and the history of the area. We gals did our best to add to the economy with all the shopping we did. I would do it again.

Had a wonderful trip with a very knowledgeable and organised tour guide. The workshops were interesting and interactive. Many a happy memory was taken home.

I have enjoyed several trips with Knitting Tours over the years and each one has been more than fabulous from start to finish - great programs, great hotels, great meals, great guides, great transportation. I don't care to travel with any other company.

Careful planning was done to make the tour always interesting and relevant. The team at This Is Knit made us feel like family. Excellent history by Freda, our tour guide, made the bus trips between venues engaging. Food was plentiful and delicious. Our bus driver performed miracles down lots of country roads and I alway felt safe. Learned so much from each class and came home with a bounty of yarn to keep me going through the winter. If you have the opportunity to go, don't miss this!

Thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Our guide, Michelle, was so knowledgeable, and accommodating. I learned so much about the area and the country.
We went places I didn’t know existed. My only critique is I would have enjoyed more traditional, local food.

Small groups, wonderful tour guides, learning and experiencing with like minded people, expert designers and craft folks teaching their culture and art. Not rushed and exhausting, perfect pace.

KnittingTours partnered with an excellent independent crafter to curate a very special experience for our tour. Our guide Michele was excellent, organized, gracious and knowledgeable, our driver James was safe and timely. What was so special was the in person access we were able to have to the entirety of the Irish sheep-to-wool supply chain and the dedicated people who make it happen. A Knitting Tour to Ireland in mid-June was perfect. Michele, or guide was par excellence! Sooo much was packed into each day.

While the tour was knitting focused, we also had some surprises like visiting the Newbridge Silversmiths, a walk on The Burren with a guide to help identify flowers, and a spinning demonstration with hands-on opportunities.
I personally could have done without the Irish Dancing session and the Writers Workshop (but that's me); others seemed to enjoy both.
Michele, our guide, and James, our motorcoach driver were perfect ambassadors for Ireland.
I would book again with Knitting Tours without hesitation!
