It was a brilliant service. It arrived super quick after I ordered it. When it came there was a mistake with one item. I emailed the KTO team they answered the same day apologising and with instructions of what to do next. I mail the wrong item, KTO paid me back for the 1st class delivery and the following day I had the item I had originally ordered. Ellen was amazing!!

Great service and real clarity on materials, supply chain and ethical standards. I will definitely shop here again.

The package came a lot l sooner than I thought it would! The packaging was all out of paper which is such an amazing difference than other companies! The clothes are amazing and I’m obsessed with the items I got!! Such a great purchase and definitely will purchase more!!

Excellent lotions and creams
I got 2 Upcirle products, very uplifting smell (coffee!!!)
and some Evolve products, one of which is a face mask that smells like hot chocolate.
I'm planning to reuse the jars to buy products in bulk locally, and maybe make my own. I really wanted to try these because my skin was really dry, they do a very good job.
I can say that this package was a true pick-me-up during a dark and depressing January during a pandemic.

I was a little nervous I'd get slapped with import taxes (Thanks Brexit!) but my order was free from additional charges. I was actually kind of surprised to receive it as quickly as I did!

When I complained about the speed of the shipping, the customer service was helpful and thoughtful. So overall a good experience. However, they need to abandon public post systems because they take ages to deliver.

They were great, what can I say!!! Excellent customer service and a quick refund. Every item I ordered was lovely, and the only product I returned was just due to it not fitting me quite right. The eco packaging was really nice to see, and the wish list is a really good idea. The site is relatively easy to navigate and very clean, and one of my favourite features is that each brand’s credentials and the positive eco and sustainable facts about how the product was made and who by is posted underneath the product description. This level of transparency is excellent. The have a good variety of items from fashion to personal hygiene which is nice as you can order everything you need from one place, and shipping was only slightly delayed due to it being the Christmas period. Going forwards it would be nice to see free returns on purchases over a certain amount, as having to pay the shipping to return an item could be off putting for the consumer, especially if they are unsure on sizing. I would also like to see more diversity in their fashion brands as right now they are all of quite a similar style - brands such as Viron make military boots out of recycled materials and are excellent in regards to sustainability and ethics. So too are To Be Frank, who make T-shirt’s, joggers, jumpers, socks and denim out of recycled fabrics with an emphasis on no waste water and minimal virgin materials. TBF are also very transparent and their dedication sustainability and ethical production is great to see. Both of these brands are slightly more urban, punk or streetwear inspired and would provide greater diversity in Know The Origin’s stock. Overall, Know the Origin get a 5 star rating from me, and I would not hesitate to buy from them again.

Five stars for customer service. I ordered something in mid-December and although they did not despatch the order as quickly as the website claims, I emailed customer service after a few days and they promptly replied to me and sent the item. I also appreciated that the item arrived in eco-friendly packaging.

I chose to return the item because it was not to my liking, but that's nothing against the shop itself. My refund was processed very quickly. I understand free return shipping is impractical for this small business, but it would have been nice to have a process for generating a return label rather than having to do it myself. It's not a big deal, but I offer that as a suggestion.

Bottom line, I would order from them again.

I've been waiting to buy my Truthpaste and have been using up an old commercial brand of regular toothpaste.
It's just not the same.
Truthpaste makes my mouth feel cleaner, doesn't get washed away and is good for the environment too! Winner!
