First experinece w/ Koio - exceptional!
While I don't always leave reviews for retailers, my recent experience with Koio warranted it.
I initially ordered two different sizes, unsure of my fit. When I realized the special promotion only allowed for store credit, I requested a full refund and was accommodated. I then ordered a size 12, which turned out to be too big, and initiated an exchange. I greatly appreciated receiving a courtesy refund for the return/exchange fee.
A few days later, the sneakers went on a deeper discount. I inquired about a price adjustment and was immediately granted the difference.
Not only are the quality and aesthetics of Koio premier, but your customer service is truly unparalleled—beyond responsive and solutions-focused. Other retailers should take notice.

Needed help cancelling an exchange request.
I thought I needed to make an exchange for a recent boot purchase but turns out they just needed a little extra time to break in. The support team was very quick & helpful in answering my questions. It was an easy process getting someone to cancel my exchange request & return the exchange fee. Really great experience.

I own over 12 pairs of Koio shoes
I own over 12 pairs of Koio shoes. I purchased the triple white capris 3 times. I wore the first 2 pairs nearly every day. They still looked good (with cleaning obviously and new laces)
Super comfortable. Best luxury sneakers on the market and best value.

Outsole Deformed
Capri sneakers arrived with deformed outsoles, clear manufacturing defect. Had there been quality control in place, the sneakers never would have made it to my front door. Customer service regarding exchanging was fine, but nothing superlative.

Hi Matt, we sincerely apologize for the issue with your Capris. You let us know the outsole was a little uneven on the pair you received, and we provided an exchange to get a new pair. Small manufacturing variances can occur once in a while since our shoes are handmade. We appreciate this feedback, and always aim to improve our quality control.

If I could give this company zero stars - I would! I ordered a pair of shoes after reading an online review and I was very hopeful. But the shoes were the wrong ones. The label on the box didn't match the shoes, and the shoes inside were nothing like what I ordered.
So I did an exchange, went to the post office, and when they received my return they shipped a new pair. But they shipped the wrong shoes again! Even after speaking with customer service, they shipped the exact same wrong shoes!!!
So then a manager contacted me and ASSURED ME if I wanted to try again they would give me a discount on the order and they would monitor the warehouse fulfillment to MAKE SURE the correct order was shipped.
You can guess what happened...EXACT SAME wrong order! How many times do I have to go to the post office to return their shoes???

Hi Jeremy, we are so sorry that you received the wrong item this many times! We've just sent an email letting you know, but it turns out a batch of this style was mistakenly mislabeled, which explains how this happened multiple times.
This has never occurred before, which is why we didn't catch this sooner, and we sincerely apologize. This is absolutely not acceptable, and not a normal experience with us. Our team is in the process of relabeling this style correctly, and we'll be able to send the correct item if you'd still like to receive it. As an alternative, we can of course provide a refund as well.
I'm also happy to arrange a pick-up so you don't have to go to the post office, and have sent a gift card via email as well for the inconvenience. I sincerely apologize for your experience here, and hope we can show you our usual top-quality level of service going forward. We look forward to hearing from you!

Thin Leather - Results in cracking
Loved the design of the shoe and easy to wear out of the box. However after a few wears the portions of the shoe that crease started to crack. The leather is thin and nothing compared to Common Projects or Oliver Cabells. It feels dry and rough to the touch. I've only worn these shoes out in the city and they are unwearable now due to what looks like spiderweb cracking on both shoes.
