Kubota BX350D tractor not fit for purpouse
I purchased a Kubota BX350D tractor in 2008 & had endless problems & faults with it.
Eventually I sorted them out.
When I purchased the machine, I received a letter from their Managing Director Tadahisa Omote saying “We are determined that our machines exceed your expectations and that our valued reputation for quality and performance grows even stronger. To achieve this we need your help. There is only one person who can sit in final judgment of our machines and that is you, our customer” “Thus, if you tell us there are areas in which we need to improve, I will ensure that action will be taken.”
It was meaningless, despite Kubota’s promises, I have had to pay out to replace the Dashboard which was faulty & let in water. The replacement cost me £520 in 2020 not including fitting.
On 17/07/23, the tractor was caught in a rain shower, following which, the instrument cluster again let water in and now needs replacing again!
In dealing with Kubota, I discovered that they where aware of this fault but have done nothing to correct it. Instead, they quoted their guarantee periods & offered me a discounted replacement price of £538.25 + VAT.
I told Kubota that I will never purchase anything from Kubota in the future & that I would leave a review on Trustpoilet.
So, the tractor is not suitable for outdoor use! If it rains when in use, the instrument cluster is likely to fail!
I purchased a Kubota as they claim high quality, my mistake. Perhaps the tractor should come with a warning not to allow it to get wet?
So, if you are thinking of buying a Kubota tractor, you have been warned.
