The customer service is outstanding
The customer service is outstanding! When I faced a problem in the middle of the night, they quickly responded inspite of being out of office hours (4.30 am). The only reason I gave 4/5 stars is because our check in was delayed twice, and the problem faced in the middle of the night. They were both caused by housekeeping staff, but the customer service team was very effective and quick in sorting these out. Overall had a pleasant stay :)

Worth the price
Great location. The room was clean and perfect for the price. Kunda House and Airbnb were very professional and accomodating with extended stay.They answered any queries and problems effectively and immediately. Definitely would recommend and stay again in Bournbrook
Reason for the 3 stars the kitchen layout is beautiful but the guests keep it a little untidy and the fridges are crowded.Sharing with different cultures is challenging as cooking scents for some was some what unpleasant however that is definitely not a fault from management.

Kunda House-Never
Kunda house is a chaotic property that is not being managed properly. The communal room which is the lounge and kitchen is always dirty. The bins are always piled up and never taken out unless the guest takes it out. (Please,see pictures below). The rooms are in extreme temperatures either too hot or cold. Room are never cleaned unless guest clean it themselves. Bed bugs in rooms .There are no cleaning supplies in the house and the guests have to buy our washing up liquids to do the dishes. The fridge,oven-and microwave is never clean unless guests clean it themselves.
Kunda House is not safe for guests as random people keep coming in to the house . The smoke alarm does not work as people smoke cigarette and all sort of drugs
in the lounge and kitchen area. Kitchen utensils such as pot and pans need to be replaced as the non stick coating as worn off and it is damaging to a person’s health.
Kunda House customer service representative are the most unprofessional people on earth. When you call to complain, they blamed it on you or tell you stupid things like you have to take bin out yourselves, or contact booking.com .They are very quick to take your money but they do not refund. The members of team that i have met face -face are always defensive and the whole team deal on blame culture. They blame the guests for stupid that don’t make sense. I believe Kunda House could be better if they trained their customer service team and maintenance team on how to deal with customers instead of blaming customers. Kunda House should have the cleaning team regularly each week and they should make sure the house is cleaned, stock up with cleaning supplies for guest rooms and well maintained. No more stupid excuses such as there is no mop or washing liquid. As a member of the Kunda House Team,you should be able to know where your cleaning supplies and what supplies you have left in stock . Do better next time.

This includes cleaning up after yourself by washing dishes, cutlery, and glassware after each meal, as well as disposing of waste appropriately in designated bins. We understand that issues may arise, and we have taken prompt action to address and resolve them.
Regarding the temperature of the rooms, we apologise for any discomfort you experienced the heating can be turned off by the valve on the radiator. Our maintenance team works diligently to ensure a comfortable stay for all guests, and we encourage guests to reach out to us if they encounter any issues during their stay. We have taken note of your concerns regarding bed bugs and will investigate the matter thoroughly to rectify the situation.
Furthermore, we have a strict no-smoking policy to maintain a clean and healthy environment. Any violation of this policy is taken seriously, and we request guests to smoke in designated areas outside the house to prevent smoke from entering the premises.

Hi, This location is a mix of rental tenants and air bnb,the sharing of space especially in the kitchen is a problem, as the usual tenants seem to overpower the place precisely the 2 ladies upstairs, their attitude sucks too, very rude, they can even knock on the toilet when someone is using it, the washing machines were always full if their clothes, the radiators covered with their clothes making the whole place untidy and unpleasant to the eye, to say the least. They cook and leave pots full of food all over the place, the fridge overflowing with their stuff.I think the landlord need to really see how to make situation better before the situation worsens.thank you

I live there for 4 weeks in room no.8
I live there for 4 weeks in room no.8. The en-suit room is clean and not old. The room is very warm in Jan. The shower is nice and i didn't get any cold water shower night. 2 washers and 2 dryers, 2 microwaves and 2 ovens are very convenient.
The cleanliness of kitchen is depends on others tenants, there are 2 nights having bad tenants who watch tv and laugh loudly at 2am. The staff announce message making noise at night might cause kicked out. The voice down after that. Not sure if they moved out or the message work.
But over all, i will come back to stay if i have chance.
