Look and feel is of an excellent piece of kit. Reviews by those behind me are also very good. May be just imagining it but it feels like drivers go that bit wider when passing. 😀

It’s a good light, and it does help with regard to close passes during the evening in particular. I have an issue with the mounting system which requires removing the seat post every time you want to mount it. That’s an incredible waste of time as it’s not a light weight mount and there are times when I don’t want it on my bike.

The light is good and it is well made. The main reason for buying is to encourage drivers to pass wider.

Love the L-bow, had the first generation, this new one even better, great design and function. Ordered on line and arrived three days later. Great value at £22.

I bought this to replace my MK1 which was broken when my bike fell over. To be honest the difference is less than obvious. As with the MK 1, the rubber band which holds it in place needs to be tighter in my opinion. The mounting system does not facilitate swapping between bikes. Luckily for me I have a spare seat post mount due to the demise of my MK 1.

Delivery very quick, light good quality.Feel much safer than the normal rear light in use, highly recommend

Terrible product. It doesn’t hold a charge. I contacted support and they admitted there was a problem with some units, but they did not fix or replace mine. So I am the proud owner of an elbow shaped piece of junk.

UPDATE: They did not respond until I posted this review— I think that tells you everything you need to know about this company.

I'm impressed of L-bow with the security light and how to keep cars not to narrow the rider.

Effective rear bike light makes a wider impression than others

Quality - easy and quick to fit.. seems to work well, with some drivers noticeably wider passing (especially in town)

It's great and I love it!

I bought this for my husband who cycles every day. With roads seeming to become increasingly dangerous for cyclists, and (some) driver attitudes towards cyclists being utterly shocking, over the years I have bought my husband anything I have seen that makes his journeys as a cyclist safer.

Almost every day my husband experiences close passes by drivers who simply cannot wait until it is safe to pass him. Some have been shockingly close, and some have seen him being subjected to verbal abuse and threats from drivers for simply being on the road. I hate him cycling because of this reason, so when I saw this it was a must have. Anything that helps increase his presence on the road and makes his bicycle 'bigger' to help encourage drivers to allow more space is worthwhile having.

The light on this is incredibly bright. Personally I would like it to be longer, but my husband says whilst there are still close passes, it does seen to be helping reduce the high volume of close passes.

The usage time on one charge is amazing. It was easy to install and my husband is very pleased with it. Even if it only stopped just one close pass it would be worth every penny.

Maybe one day, vehicle drivers will understand that cyclists have the same entitlement to be on the road and treat them with respect and general decency.
