Ever since Labyrinth was acquired by Harbor Compliance, their service has deteriorated significantly. I recently received a notice from the State of Maryland stating we had been non-compliant for two years. I spent four weeks trying to get an answer from Labyrinth, only to discover this was just the tip of the iceberg....we were actually non-compliant in multiple states.
I’ve now been going back and forth with them for over two months trying to get a full refund. We had to contract a new company to take over for Labyrinth and their status check revealed even more states where Labyrinth dropped the ball. The cost to us to make us compliant again is what we're asking for from Labyrinth and they won't even give us half that.
If I want to get more of a refund they asked me to provide documentation from the states proving they failed to do their job. That’s unbelievable, since Labyrinth is the official contact for all state filings—any notices would have been sent directly to them. They are also supposed to share all state correspondence with us, but their folders are empty because they fail to provide this information as required.
The administrative time this has taken me to straighten out is astronomical. Because I don't have access to the information that Labyrinth wants (and actually has themselves) I even called some of the states in question to get answers. Several of the states I talked to knew exactly what "third party" vendor I was talking about when I explained what I was attempting to do. That speaks volumes about Labyrinth.
Do yourself a favor and avoid this company.

My experience has been like that of many others recently. Complete radio silence on questions/concerns, failure to file on time, and no customer service representative.
It feels like a complete scam. They should be investigated.

They have no customer service. Check your bills closely because they are intentionally confusing and their portal is awful.

I called the receptionist/operator to try and get a live body, and she couldn't answer simple questions like "can you give me the name of ONE other employee? How many employees do you have?" and the list goes on. She took a message and said someone would get back to me. "In an hour, day or year" I asked. But she couldn't answer that either.

We had missed deadlines for registrations which cost us donations. After failing to complete the work we contracted for and after many attempts at emailing and calling, they stopped responding. They will be happy to invoice you for more services even though they won't complete the ones you've already paid them for! Avoid avoid avoid!!!

We had an extremely poor experience with Labyrinth and a number of missed filings. Our prior firm was bought out by Labyrinth - we received multiple emails requesting the same signatures previously provided. In some instances, it would take days to request a single signature link. I would not recommend Labyrinth to any non-profit, for charity registration services.

I have worked with Labyrinth for at least 5 years, the registration specialist is responsive, professional and knowledgeable. Labyrinth take of the state registration process with little required from me. It is a seamless process.

I cannot express our gratitude and thanks for Labyrinth since contracting with them in 2018. We had been in a prior contract with another Company who was not fulling the requirements for our State Registrations. Labyrinth jumped in and by end of 2018 had B.A.C.A. International Inc registered for 2017 and 2018. Great employees that work for the Customer and get business taken care of in a timely manner. Would highly recommend Labyrinth to any business that requires this type of service. You will not be disappointed!

I love working with Labyrinth. They are professional, courteous, responsive, and knowledgeable. Labyrinth makes the process of renewing registrations each year simple and almost painless. Managing our organization's state registrations would be tedious and cumbersome without them. Our dedicated rep is always one-step ahead of me and in constant communication, and has gone above and beyond on multiple occasions to help me troubleshoot issues and complete applications.
