My first experience with LDMT, I will be back!
My first experience with Lake District Motorcycle Tours was fantastic.
Our guide Ian Todd (Toddy) was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and great company. As someone who has never had any riding time in the Lake District, his understanding of the local roads proved invaluable and close to essential.
The Lake District is such a huge place, and whilst ”just riding around” can be a joy in itself this guided ride out is exactly what you need for finding those less travelled, perfect windy roads that us as bikers always see in our dreams!
Without this guided tour I would have had to waste so much time with trial and error trying to suss out the local area. What’s great is that since Toddy loves riding as much, or even more than the rest of us, all he wants to do is take us to the best places for the most unforgettable memories to take home with us.
Couldn’t ask for a better experience, super accommodating and friendly. If I could give a 7 star rating I would!

Riding a full lap of the Isle of Man TT…
Riding a full lap of the Isle of Man TT course with LakeDistrict Motorcycle Tour was an experience I’ll never forget. The bike was in perfect condition, and our guide was absolutely top-tier — knowledgeable, passionate, and full of amazing insights about every corner of the circuit.
From Bray Hill to the Mountain Mile, every section was brought to life with stories, history, and that raw TT energy. It wasn’t just a ride — it was a deep dive into one of the most iconic circuits in the world. I felt the spirit of the TT in every mile.
Whether you’re a fan of the TT or just love proper riding, this is a bucket-list experience. Massive thanks to LakeDistrict Motorcycle Tour for making it so unforgettable.

Thank you so much for the amazing review Ismail!
It means a lot to hear how much the TT lap experience meant to you 🙏🏽 bringing the course to life and sharing the stories behind every corner is what we love to do & knowing you felt the spirit of the TT in every mile is exactly why we do what we do.
Hopefully we’ll catch you again.. next time, maybe on the winding roads of the Lake District!
Ride safe,
Ian & the LDMT team 🏍️
