My first order with Lakeland Lights co and I'm extremely pleased with my candles. They arrived promptly, securely packaged and even contained a hand-written note from Jo and James! I have Ennerdale,Ullswater and Derwent and each has its own unique and distinctive perfume. They burn cleanly and smell gorgeous right to the end! Highly recommend them!
My son gave me Whitehaven candle as my dad came from Whitehaven smell great and burt even smell was so great . I had to buy some more.

My order arrived today and I was just so excited! I discovered Lakeland Lights candles a year ago when on a visit to Ambleside and I bought the small Ambleside candle as a souvenir.
It was such a lovely fresh scent and such a high quality candle. You would think it’s hard to mess up making a candle but I have bought them from all over the world and have regularly been disappointed. Not this time. The only disappointment was when it was finished.
So you can imagine my joy at finding them available online and I immediately popped 3 of the large Ambleside candles in my basket.
When they arrived with a personal note from the owners thanking me for my purchase and advising on how to get the best from them I was totally made up.
It’s now Friday night, I am in my PJs with a glass of wine and an Ambleside candle filling the room with the most gorgeous scent and memory of a wonderful place.
I will be back for more!!
Beautiful candles from a small (local to me) business. They smell amazing and have a long lasting fragrance. They don’t have any synthetic smell. They last a long time and are excellent value for money. I can’t wait to try more of their scents.
