When I visited Lanterns website I was looking for a glass juliette balcony for a renovation at my property. The product I chose had a photograph of the glass balcony with the fittings attached to the outside of a property. I purchased the product expecting the glass and the fittings as it was described as a Juliette balcony. I was very disappointed when just the glass arrived and I asked the delivery men where the fittings where…they advised me that they would follow. I was advised by the delivery driver that they only manufactured the glass as they were based in Liverpool yet the company is based in London.After waiting a few days and with no fittings delivered nor any correspondence from the company regarding the delivery of the fittings I went back onto the website to see if there was any further information. After revisiting the product on the website , there were a number of drop downs and it was there that I discovered the fittings needed to be sought separately from a different supplier. I do feel very disappointed that the product did not come as a package asI feel that it was advertised as such… a Juliette balcony….it was very misleading and should be advertised as a glass panel for a Juliette balcony. I then had great difficulty in trying to purchase a suitable product to complete the job. I think it should have been clearer what Lanterns was selling as on a cost basis I could have purchased the whole balcony with a different supplier at a cheaper cost.
