Pure scum
Pure scum. How are they getting away with thid. £60 gone before i realised.
This is a scam company
This is a scam company, utterly appalling behaviour, just like every other reviewer here, I have came here because I was conned out of £4.50, the service is dishonest and immoral and what's worse is, they have been getting away with it.
I got the dreaded listen2books message and it told me that I had subscribed for £4.50 a week, I absolutely categorically did not sign up for listen2books, in fact I had never even heard of them, I later learned that it was because I inadvertently clicked on a link that subscribed me.
I did not and would not click on a link that costs me 4.50 a week, in fact any purchase I make is after careful consideration.
Luckily I am with Tesco mobile and they were able to sort me out with a refund and block and future messages from these despicable scammers.
O2 support Lasevia, as they continue to process their payments.
Totally unacceptable that this company is allowed to get away with scamming innocent people. Even worse is O2’s attitude. Despite not a good word about this company anywhere on the Internet, O2 continue to process this dishonest companies payments and are therefore totally complicit, and in my opinion O2 should refund every penny charged by these people. It’s not as if they don’t know what’s going on. If you have been charged by this company, let O2 know you expect a full refund and you consider them complicit.
Scam!
O2 bill hit with £4.50, for the second time. I did not consciously sign up for this service and have no idea what it is. Now trying to get it terminated.
Well I've never visited this page…
Well I've never visited this page before and im not interested on doing that. Your site or company send me a text of a weekly charge or otherwise I'll have to send STOP to a number. Clearly this is a joke?!! Am I right?!
SCAM
Absulotrly reddiculas , a click from a child took £4.50 every week and total over £120 . It’s a massive SCAM . The customer service don’t reply back straight and someone call back with rude accent and tried to prove that I’m wrong and will not refund anything. Network can’t do anything. So it’s a fraud too .
Disgusting Malpractice!
I can't believe this is allowed to happen! Surely there should be some sort of barrier before charges can be added to your account?
Luckily 02 have agreed to refund all charges.
If you ever see this company mentioned in your bill; Text: STOP to 83463 immediately!
Scamming C*$TS
Scamming C*$TS!
Just read the rest of the reviews and you'll know why. Get out of forced subscription as soon as possible so you don't have to pay a small fortune to these farce. Reply with STOP straight away!
I can not believe this is allowed to…
I can not believe this is allowed to happen. I have not subscribe Lasevia and even had to google who they were, but they are taking my money from O2. Why doesn't O2 do something about it???. I have rung them so many times and they fob me off with a load of rubbish. I will never have a contract with O2 AGAIN !!! I feel i have been let down by them and will let all my friends know not to take out a contract with them.
I AM DISGUSTED BY THIS AND I,M STILL BEING BILLED FOR SOMETHING I HAVEN'T SIGN UP FOR AND NOT EVEN GETTING ANYTHING FOR MY MONEY. HOW CAN WE STOP THEM TAKING IT???????
Total Scam and O2 do nothing about it!!
Total Scam and O2 are still taking my money to give to Lasevia
I spoke to O2 and they say its a legitimate company which I have subscribed to! I have not!!
I told them to look on the web and see the reviews and complaints about them. They know its a scam by the amount of customers ringing up and complaining to them yet they still will do nothing!
O2 will not listen to its customers complaining so I will not be renewing my contract again with them. They are happy to take my money but not support or help me when things are not right.
Very poor conduct from a large company
Accidentally clicked on their ad, automatically subscribed to service. SCAM! BEWARE!
IF YOU SEE AN AD FOR LASEVIA DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES CLICK ON IT. THEY WILL AUTOMATICALLY SUBSCRIBE YOUR PHONE NUMBER.
So an ad for these guys featured on a website. While scrolling I accidentally clicked on it and opened a new tab. Shut it straight away. The following day I received a text saying I had been charged £4.50 and to text a number to stop monthly payments. I thought it may be a scam and ignored it. Turns out that I was charged as it appeared on my next bill!
I spoke to O2 who confirmed the charge was from Lasevia and gave me their customer service number to ask for a refund of the charge. What a load of b******s! If you get through to a person, they are only qualified to take a message and say someone will call you in the next 5 days. Reading other reviews, it looks unlikely they will give it to me.
I contacted O2 again. Here's my advice - kick up a massive fuss with your phone company over Lasevia not giving refunds, and how they are compliant in allowing their customers to get scammed. Threaten to make formal complaints. In the end I was credited with £5 I think because it was easier!
In the meantime I plan on writing to Lasevia, also my MP and investigating whether they are in breach of GDPR regulations for which they can be prosecuted.
Moral of the story : DO NOT UNDER CLICK ON THEIR ADS. THEY WILL AUTOMATICALLY SUBSCRIBE YOUR PHONE NUMBER. IF YOU DO, CONTACT YOUR PHONE COMPANY TO BLOCK FUTURE PAYMENTS AND THEN DEMAND THEY GIVE YOU THE REFUND AS LASEVIA WON'T!
This is a disreputable company
This is a disreputable company. Without any prior warning they send texts to mobile phones that automatically take money from your account.
Checkout payforitsucks on the web and see how much grief they cause.
Scam - £4.50 per week book subscription!
As soon as you receive their text, IMMEDIATELY text back STOP. Do not delete their messages as you may need for proof with your carrier further proving this was not something you subscribed to. Fortunately, I do not have an automatic topup on my mobile contract and have disabled premium services. Good luck, don't know how on earth they got my details... :-)
never had a message til I checked phone…
never had a message til I checked phone bill 20 odd pound taking off me by this company and I can't cancel because no contact or stop message present
Another scam
Another scam!
I did not reply to the message and asked my phone provider to block (02).
How do these companies get away with this! Its disgusting!
Thieving scam crooks
How much do O2 earn from these scam…
How much do O2 earn from these scam touch-to-steal premium rate subscription 'services'?
With their cut of the £33 authorised-by-touch money they can putit towards kicking Ericsson into touch for their national dead zones.
Lasevia scam but O2 don't help
Must have hit something on my phone and now charged £4.50 without warning.
I have text STOP to the number quoted in the subscription text and really don't have the time to fight it. Also, the advice given by O2 is to contact Lasevia but what's the point??!!
Poor form all round
SCAM
SCAM. Never signed for anything yet get charged £4.50/week for no service/product.
O2 need to stop this blatant theft from our accounts! Instead they do nothing!!!
