Through Latimer, Oliver has tutored my Son with Maths and Science over the past 12 months. We found Oliver patient, clear and very skilled. He has made a big difference in building my Son's confidence for his GCSE's and he always enjoyed the lessons. I would highly recommend Oilver.

Jeremy was amazing in the lead up to my son’s A level Geography exams. After having missed a lot of content at school, Jeremy quickly identified the gaps in knowledge and gave my son the skills and confidence to maximise his revision. His approach was brilliant always, fostering a mutual respect and great learning environment and even putting in extra time when needed at no extra cost - nothing was ever too much trouble. We can’t thank Jeremy and Latimer enough. Fantastic service which is thoroughly recommended and will be using again myself for other children. My son feels like he did really well in his exams and actually misses his sessions with Jeremy … something I never thought I’d hear him say about about school work!

Lucy Coatman was an excellent teacher throughout my sessions. She was able to both make lessons engaging and prepare me well for my exams by regularly going through exam questions with me. She had an array of knowledge on multiple topics which was very helpful considering I study multiple topics in my subject. Fantastic Tutor – Supportive, Skilled, and organised

Neha Flora has been tutoring my 12-year-old daughter for two years now through Latimer Tuition, mainly in maths but also in chemistry and physics. She’s incredibly organised, kind, and really knows how to explain things clearly. My daughter enjoys her lessons.

Neha has built a lovely relationship with her over time, and it’s great to see how much trust and respect there is between them. She’s not just a great teacher but also a positive influence and role model.

The progress my daughter has made is clear, and her confidence has grown so much. We feel really lucky to have Neha’s support, she makes a real difference.

I made contact with Latimer Tuition when my daughter identified that she needed some support with A Level Law and Psychology.

I was put in contact with Neha who was able to provide some tuition on both subjects.

Me and my daughter were introduced to Neha in a zoom/teams meeting where she gave us a run down of her background and listed what she would be able to help with. My daughter felt an instant connection with Neha and was made to feel at ease so there began her tuition journey.

My daughter has had tuition from Neha for around 8 months which has helped increase her predicted exam grades. She has also said how much more confident she feels having spent more dedicated time securing her knowledge.

Neha has been great at showing my daughter how to structure her exam answers and testing her using previous test papers.

We were recommended Latimer Tutors by friends and I’m so glad we gave them a go. Signing up was simple and we were quickly matched with Kevin Maher, who we were able to meet before agreeing to the tutoring.
Kevin has been amazing, my son has got on well with him, and learnt a lot. Kevin has also been extremely flexible so when exams started instead of having a set day/time (that we previously did) we have worked around the exam timetable so that my son feels fully prepared before each exam.
If you are looking for a tutor I would highly recommend Latimer. And if science is the need then I would ask for Kevin.

Justin was my daughters tutor and he and the service has been amazing. I think we've had Justin for about a year and my daughters grades have tripled. He's given her so much confidence and support.
Money is tight for us and Justin would always work with my circumstances and help where he could and he did. It's very affordable and latimer customer service was always brilliant too.

I had Ollie as a tutor and he was very helpful in explaining everything thoroughly and clearly and expanding my range of vocabulary and ideas I could use in my English exams. He provided helpful essay plans that prepared me for my exam.

We are incredibly grateful to Ollie Blackwell for his outstanding support in preparing my daughter for her GCSE English exams. From the very beginning, it was evident that he had a deep understanding of the curriculum and an intuitive approach to teaching. My daughter initially struggled on expanding her vocabulary and using a broader range of English words in her writing. My daughter didn't fully understand the marking criteria and key skills needed in preparing for her exams to achieve the higher marks. She tended to rely on simpler vocabulary, which often meant her essays and responses lacked the depth and variety needed to achieve higher marks, but Ollie has managed to turn this around since he began teaching my daughter towards the end of year 9.

What really stood out was how patient/ supportive and encouraging Ollie was. Ollie took the time to provide homework and offer support outside of the lessons to provide her with any feedback on homework or queries she may have had. The lessons were always engaging, well-structured, and balanced between skill-building and exam practice. Ollie used a variety of resources, from past exam papers to interactive discussions, which helped boost my daughter's confidence and improve her understanding of key themes, characters, and language techniques.

One of the biggest improvements we noticed was my daughter’s ability to write more confidently and clearly and understanding the techniques required to get higher grades. With Ollie's guidance, she learned how to structure her essays effectively, and her analytical skills improved immensely. Moreover, Ollie always made sure that the sessions were enjoyable and not just about memorization – this really helped my daughter develop a genuine interest in the subject.

The result was beyond our expectations! My daughter not only felt much more prepared going into the exams but results showed within her GCSE English mock exams. Fingers crossed she achieves these high grades when the actual exam results become available in August.

We couldn’t be happier with Ollies support and would wholeheartedly recommend him to any parent looking for a professional, kind, and dedicated GCSE English tutor. My daughter is actually quite upset she will no longer have any further lessons with Ollie now the English exams are complete as she enjoyed learning from him.
