I have used over 25 cloud service providers (big and small) over many years and switched between them. I now have 9 VPS servers in my infrastructure and a majority of them are from Layer. In fact, I have switched to Layer from many other providers.

The reasons Layer is my favourite are simple:
1) Co-founder Rashed and team provide top class service. All tickets are rapidly responded. All upstream issues are tracked and followed-up. For example, they sorted the snapshot size issue after liaison with Virtfusion.
2) Their infrastructure is excellent and stable. I never had downtime.
3) Their pricing is among the best you can find.

There is only one small negative, despite which they stay at 5 star. Layer currently has few locations UK, US, NL, SG etc. For other locations, such as IN, FR, DE, LATAM, I have to use other providers. I hope Layer will expand globally.

I've been using this VPS hosting and it's been absolutely fantastic! The performance is fast, uptime is good, the machine is recent/powerful, and customer support is always helpful and responsive. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality hosting!

10gb (shared) drop that gets a pretty solid 4+gb from their uk dc to europe. us/asia is higher latency, and slower, but that's expected, of course!

Great Web Server Provider. I have been using VPS from Layer AE and there's no problem with it. When I need support to mount Red Hat ISO, Layer did it for me soon after I submitted Ticket. I think it is great, with affordable price I can get good spesification server and good support too.

The service seems to be excellent so far, and everything works as it should.

As soon as my server was provisioned, I proceeded to do a manual Debian installation as I always do. Netboot was already selectable in the custom ISO interface of their excellent front end.
