Unnecessarily patronising response to a genuine query

Yes, the dispatch timeframe is written in the shipping section and product description. However, on most websites this information is made clear at checkout rather than requiring customers to go looking for it.
I asked a genuine, polite question after my order status showed “awaiting information,” simply to make sure everything was okay. I completely understand that some orders take time to dispatch — waiting was never the issue.
The problem was the blunt and patronising tone of the replies. I was polite and not rude, and I don’t expect to be spoken to in a way that makes me feel stupid for asking a reasonable question, including being told what a working day is.
Given the amount of money spent, the customer service response has made me reconsider ordering here again, despite understanding the dispatch times.

Great service

I ordered the work shorts and within 5 days they arrived, LCS kept me informed at all stages from order confirmation through to delivery. The product is perfect and matches the detail on website . So good I ordered a second pair of work shorts yesterday. Well done LCS I am impressed

Safety shoes

I bought a pair of safety shoes from them and after two weeks of wearing them the stitches started to fall apart.I contacted the sales team from LCS and Mr Chris said is gonna contact the brand for a return.For more than a year I am waiting for a return and still nothing. Mr Chris is telling me in each e-mail that is going to speak with the brand for warranty and nothing yet.After a year I contacted the brand ,which they were surprised by the matter, they told that no-one from LCS contacted them,they apologise for the inconvenience, and in three days they solved the problem.I bet if I will contact LCS ,Mr Chris will say "no response from the brand ,yet!"So,someone is telling lies.
No real after seales service provided by LCS.No real warranty service.
I don't recommend it to no-one.
I checked all the e-mails from you,including the spam files and junk files and I have no email from 7th of March.
The only one I have is from 4th which is telling me that you are keeping me updated. "Evening, 

I will speak with the brand, at present they haven't sent replacements for these boots, we have since stopped supplying this brand so I will keep you posted when they get back to me

Good Afternoon Marian, Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review, as a small family business we take all feedback (good and bad) on board.

I would just like to clear up a couple of things regarding your complaint. Firstly, we were not aware that you only had 2 weeks of wear when the stitching 'fell apart' as you did not email us until after 4 months of wearing these on site.

We did in fact speak to brand on several occasions and as mentioned in emails, we no longer stock this brand so our communications with our sales rep were halted. We did follow up this email with alternative boots that we were willing to offer as replacements free of charge as a gesture of goodwill (as well as free gifts for the inconvenience) since the brand ultimately decided that the boots had endured 'normal wear and tear' throughout their months of use (particularly the chunk that was taken out the sole in one image and excessive pulling on the seams in others). This email that we sent 2 months ago (Friday 7th March) unfortunately went unanswered by yourself so we could only assume you no longer wished for this to go any further, you mentioned above that it was rectified with the brand directly within 3 days so we assume this is why you chose to ignore our solution.

We are sorry to hear that you do not recommend us to anyone, however, we do hope that potential and current customers read our reply and see that we did in fact go the extra mile on this occasion despite the timeframe we were faced with, difficulty in communicating and lack of support from the brand.

The upside to shopping with a small family business is that we do care and we are always willing to rectify things when they go wrong, even if that means going out of pocket or our solutions going unanswered. Have a wonderful day :-)

Excellent service

Was waiting for what I felt like was too long for my delivery, tried emailing no answer, tried phoning, no answer, 2nd email unanswered so left a voicemail. Chris called back and explained my order had been despatched same day by Royal mail and would investigate further with them and rectify ASAP. Turns out a whole bag of stuff was still sitting there which they processed immediately and got my delivery on the Monday (this was all Thursday night/Friday morning). Jacket fits perfect has already had an outing at work and meets my requirements. Will be ordering more stuff soon and will drop an email to let them know. Excellent service from a family business and highly recommended.

Was a pleasure speaking on the phone last week and glad we could sort the issue out in a timely manner.

We're also glad you left a voicemail, as mentioned on the telephone auto message our embroidery machines are usually running full blast and we don't always hear the phone going so it gave us the option to get back to you to address the issue as soon as we found out about it.

Avoid at all costs

Ordered a pair of work shorts on the 28th June, still not recirved anything or had any correspondence, i have emailed 3 times with no reply, absolutely awful customer service, avoid this company at all costs, I've been completely ripped off and ignored

Thanks for the review albeit not a great one.

Your order(14468) was shipped with Royal Mail, within the timeframe stated on our website. It appears from checking the tracking that the order has been lost by Royal Mail.

We haven't had any correspondence from yourself that we can see via the website or via email or this would have been rectified within a timely and efficient manner.

I have emailed the email on file to discuss this matter.

Crazy

No phone number to add to an order and the emails they have for contact purposes they don't answer ethier one 👎 definitely won't buy again 👎

To add insult they have now stopped my package coming and refunded me, just annoying that trust pilot doesn't allow screen shots so I could show I emailed 2 different emails and called a landline number that's non existing

Thank you for your 1 star review, little miffed by it I have to say as you have used Google to leave us this review when you could have chatted to us through this avenue? We do also have social media platforms to message us through, you state you have emailed but I have scoured through our emails and spam and don't seem to have any correspondence from you? Also, we have a message function through the website that you've ordered from twice, again, we would have been more than happy to add to an order that you had placed if we had been given the chance to.

I can see a phone number on the 2 orders you have placed with us through the website so I will personally try and contact you by phone as soon as possible (given that we are a small family business during our busiest period, this will happen as soon as we get a breather). I will also drop you an email to discuss your complaint further.

Extremely disappointing period of time when small family businesses can't catch a break from customers quick to leave bad reviews that can seriously hinder their chances of getting anywhere especially when we are always more than happy to cater to our customers. However, when we are not given this chance, it's not fair to give a false narrative about our wee company to potential future customers. I also note that you did not leave a good review for the good experiences you had shopping with us :-(

Again, I will contact you via email today and myself or my partner will attempt to call also.

Customer is upset that we couldn't combine the orders that were made 8-9 days apart. Customer also attached screenshots of a call that he made to a number that went out of service when we moved premises. This call log showed an answered call in 2021 to us and a call from today, nothing more. We took the decision to fully refund this customer and consider the matter closed, we already have the 1 star review so no love lost :-)

Firstly, thank you for your feedback, it really helps us hearing back from our valued customers. Secondly, we have had absolutely no correspondence from you with regards to a return, I will email you directly to discuss this in more detail...

We have had NO active phone lines since moving units back in June (this was communicated to all of our customers on many occasions during the move so we are a little miffed as to who you have been calling). We requested that all enquiries be made through email, I've checked all emails and there's nothing from you stating that you would like to start a return.

Again, we will email you directly to discuss your grievance in more detail but we can assure you that NO return has been done through the proper channels and NO phone calls have been received due to us not having an active phone line since June.

We hope this clears things up and I look forward to sorting this through emails (please keep an eye out for that coming across).

Well av tried a few different companies for my work murch and have been pretty disappointed with the quality the service and even spelling name wrong but , LS is a different ball game , good quality gear kept in touch about logo back and fore to make sure I was happy and to be honest I really am , sites I go to work on I always get comments about the kit and so I just tell them where to get it cheers again guys and will defo use in the future and also promote u

Morning,

Just a quick reply to thank you for the review. As we discussed when you returned the trousers. We believe you've misread the description. To which you'd agreed 😊

Not once, on the description does it mention that the trousers are FULL STRETCH, it does however mention STRETCH PANELLING, which is correct and these are great for that extra movement. 😀

The TuffStuff X-Motion(trouser in question) has 4 way stretch panels(mentioned In description) at the groin and the rear of the legs. To enable better movement. The main trouser doesn't carry any stretch and there's never been any mention of the trouser being FULL STRETCH.

We hope we've managed to explain this again in better detail for you, we apologise if the emails back and forward didn't explain this in enough detail.

Have a lovely day and hopefully we'll see you shopping with us again for full stretch trousers, of which we have hundreds of options
