Joshua Vaughan is a great tutor
Joshua Vaughan is a great tutor. He is very nice and made me feel comfortable to be able to ask for help, He is very thorough in explaining each step and was patient when I was asking questions or needed extra explaining. He made math super easy and I would not of been able to pass my class without him he quite literally saved me! I appreciate all his help.

Cary was amazing
Cary was amazing, I would have loved to keep him for a math tutor. I had originally asked for help in all 3 subjects, that is the only reason we can't use Cary, as he is a math expert only. I give him 5 stars.
The only issue is the first tutor( not Cary) overslept and caused complete waste of time from my job and my daughter's time. But I do believe in the program and am giving it one more chance. They did arrange another tutor for us to try besides Cary, because we need help in all subjects, although Cary was very helpful to my daughter, even in the one session we had with him.

An Exceptional Math Tutor Who Truly Cares
We have been extremely pleased with our experience at Learner.com, especially with our daughter's math tutor, Linda Su Geiger. Our 14-year-old daughter is a rising sophomore, and Linda has been an exceptional fit for her learning style. She is patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly skilled at explaining challenging math concepts in ways our daughter truly understands. Linda builds confidence and encourages critical thinking.
Linda is also flexible, responsive, and an outstanding communicator. After every session, she provides thoughtful summaries of what was covered and what comes next, allowing us to follow our daughter's progress. Her genuine care for her students shines through in every interaction. We highly recommend Learner.com, and especially Linda Su Geiger, to any family looking for an exceptional math tutor.

My experience with this tutoring…
My experience with this tutoring company has been very disappointing.
The company frequently charged my account for upcoming months before the current month’s services were completed. This billing practice was unexpected and made it difficult to manage my payments.
The tutors appear to be located in different countries and time zones, which often made communication and scheduling challenging. More concerning was the lack of customer support. Before I enrolled, I received multiple follow-up calls and emails encouraging me to sign up. However, after enrollment, it became extremely difficult to reach anyone for assistance. Responses were slow or nonexistent, and there was very little proactive communication.
When I later had an issue with billing and requested a refund, I was informed that I should have withdrawn my payment dispute. I do not recall ever being told this was a requirement. Had it been clearly communicated, I would have done so immediately. Instead, my refund was denied due to a lack of communication from the company.
Overall, my experience was marked by poor customer service, unclear communication, and frustrating billing practices. I hope the company improves its transparency and support for future customers.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear your experience did not meet your expectations.
Our subscriptions renew on the same date each month, similar to most subscription services, and payment is for the upcoming billing cycle rather than after services have been used. We understand this may not be the billing structure everyone expects, and we continually work to make it as clear as possible.
While we do work with tutors in multiple time zones, the majority of our tutors are based in the United States. We appreciate you bringing your scheduling concerns to our attention, and the issues involving your tutor have since been addressed internally.
Regarding your refund request, once a credit card dispute is filed, the matter must be resolved through the card issuer. In this case, the dispute was reviewed by your financial institution, and they ruled in Learner's favor based on the documentation provided. At that point, the outcome was no longer something we were able to change.
We appreciate your feedback and are always looking for ways to improve our communication and the experience we provide to families.
Lucky to have found an amazing math tutor!
I was at a point I was hitting road blocks in finding a local tutor, so I looked online and immediately found learner.com. I filled out the easy survey and I was immediately contacted. I was able to provide the information of what I was looking for in a tutor, and I was so very fortunate to be matched with an experienced and very genuine person. My daughter was at the end of her seventh grade year and starting to struggle in math and I wanted her to have more confidence. My daughter never once complained about having her sessions with Linda. She look forward to them and it was so good to see her confidence increase, and math performance at school as well. I am beyond thankful to have found such a wonderful tutor and still know that she’s out there if we need her as we head into high school. I would encourage others to reach out to learner.com.
