After being completely let down by Specsavers I decided to try Leightons and I’m so glad I did. I was well looked after and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The Optician I saw was so lovely, really helpful and knowledgeable. Very pleased with the service. Highly recommended. Thank you.

I had a really positive experience at Leightons with Mary St Pierre. She was lovely, very thorough and took the time to explain everything clearly. I never felt rushed and felt very reassured and well looked after throughout the appointment. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend Leightons.

I had to go to the eye emergency department in Southampton. Following this I decided to book an appointment with the Southampton branch for a full eye check and scans.These were done and I then ordered varifocal glasses and contact lenses.The staff were amazing and really helpful and explained all the relevant factors that were affecting my vision.Brilliant service.

had a wonderful experience at Leightons Opticians & Hearing Care in Reading. I visited after accidentally bending the hinges on my glasses, and I was warmly welcomed by a gentleman who was assisting another customer but still took the time to ask if I needed help. While I waited, another friendly member of staff became available, repaired my glasses, and refused any payment when I asked how much I owed. Their kindness and generosity left me speechless. I cannot thank the team enough, and I will definitely return to Leightons for my next eye test and glasses. Highly recommended!

LEIGHTONS opticians and hearing care Beth was amazing. My shades had been damaged through heat which was in the case Wuthering and heat left a residue all over my expensive Parda sunglasses. I went to our local opticians and inquired about getting them clean as they were really Damaged,
Beth one of their assistants took the glasses thoroughly clean them put them in a machine was very nice with excellent customer service, she was very friendly super helpful and did not charge me any money,

I would not recommend Leightons, on 2 occasions I have contacted them following several years of regular tests.
On the 1st, I had a pvd, although I didn’t know at the time they wouldn’t see me just suggested my Gp.
On the 2nd, this year I started having double vision in one eye after only 3 months since my last test, I was abroad and explained in some detail, they did not even reply! A test then showed a difference of .75 diopters from their test, maybe it has changed that much in a short time but their disinterest was appalling.

We had a really lovely experience here. Mya and Aleksandra were warm and welcoming. Aruba was amazing with my son. She really made him feel comfortable and at ease during his first eye test.

Excellent personnel, friendly, pleasant manner both from people carrying out the eye tests and from the person discussing a change of lenses and maybe new frames. Very clear and thorough explanations of everything.
