I popped into Leightons recently without an appointment. I was seen immediately. I took in 2 pairs of spectacles, both of which had damage to one of the arms.
Leightons repaired both pairs of spectacles within minutes. They refused to make a charge. In short, their service was exemplary.
I should add that I had not purchased the spectacles from Leightons.

All the staff are awesome, nothing is too much bother, special mention to Albert who always goes the extra mile.....over 8 years now. Cheers Leightons!

Went in to get my sunglasses fixed and was helped by Kevin and Sabica.
They were super helpful and not only fixed my glasses but also could advised me on contract lens.
Will definitely recommend a visit.

I went to Leightons Reading for my annual eye test, eye inspection by a pleasant receptionist. Aruba gave me my eye test she very professional and courteous, the prescription did not need changing. Albert adjusted 2 pairs of my current glasses which made a great improvement, excellent service, thank you Albert. He also adjusted my husband’s glasses as he could see they weren’t sitting right. Leightons customer service goes above and beyond with an overall great service and would highly recommend Leightons Reading.

Elenor was very friendly and explained everything amazingly for my first visit for ear wax removal. Very quick service! Helped me out when I couldn’t get an appointment for another week elsewhere! Had a same day appointment.

Every member of the team I had any interaction with were absolutely delightful. I strayed from my usual opticians, coming to Leightons instead, and had an eye test with Aruba, who was fantastic at efficiently finding out the best prescription for me, completing health checks, and giving great advice and answering my questions. She was really good at explaining everything she was doing, or about to do, whilst also being really speedy without it ever feeling rushed. The team members who greeted me at the desk and did my pre-appointment checks were also incredibly lovely. I absolutely hate choosing new frames but Albert couldn't have been better in supporting. He really put me at ease, listened so well to what I wanted, and showed me a number of frames which were all good and one was an outright winner. Albert was clearly so knowledgeable and was fantastic at making sure I chose the glasses I really liked rather than rushing me to make a decision or being pushy or sales-like in any way. He also made the process (which I have always previously hated) actually really relaxed and enjoyable as he was so easy to get along with and have a laugh with. I have also had another experience with Leightons Reading, getting ear impressions for earplugs with one of the audiologists who was also utterly lovely. Every member of the team is an absolute credit to the branch and I'm so pleased I booked in with them for my eye test this time round and will definitely be coming back. They also have different payment options and a care plan and all of these options are shared to you without you feeling the pressure to opt in to anything. I've been wearing glasses for about 16 years and have only previously been to various Specsavers branches and once to a Boots opticians and this experience was absolutely miles above any I've had before - thank you Leightons Reading!

I went to have earwax removed. It was pretty compacted and Elenor had a tricky time getting it all out, but she persevered and tried different methods. She was understanding and caring when I started feeling queasy!

Elenor is super-friendly and explained, in detail, what was happening during my visit. Both ears are working perfectly since the visit to clear obstructive wax. Well worth the money.

He took great care explaining my options and made sure I made the right decision for my eye sight and my circumstances.

Walk into the Reading branch and had frames I had from another vendor which needed adjusting, the welcome was warm and friendly and they did the adjustment without any hassle . 5 stars
