Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Whilst it is regrettable that you feel this way and we are genuinely sorry we could not meet your expectations, we disagree that the level of service provided was "shockingly bad". We were contacted on Wednesday 28th August and an emergency appointment was made for the next day (Thursday 29th). This appointment was cancelled due to work commitments and an appointment on Friday 30th was requested, which we were unable to accommodate at such short notice. We book 45-minutes for emergency appointments to ensure we can provide any necessary remedial treatment on the day, so only have a limited number available each day. It was offered to put you on the cancellation list but your response was that you felt that you should have an appointment on the day and time of your choosing. We are genuinely sorry if there has been some misunderstanding regarding Denplan and the entitlement it provides. Denplan is a payment scheme which entitles you to a nominal number of examination and hygiene appointments per year, in addition to a 10% discount off the cost of treatment for a monthly fee. The emergency-cover aspect of Denplan is clearly detailed on our website, any literature we disperse and in their own literature, and accounts for 60p of your monthly payment. This is paid to Denplan and not our practice and covers you if you are more than forty-miles from home. Once again, we are very unhappy that we could not meet your needs on this single occasion but refute your assertion. We could fit you in and did fit you in but you were unable to attend.
