Overall not good experience

We recently spoke with Lendaline for our small family business. we tried to ask questions and they were unhelpful and went back on their word.

Unprofessional, dishonest, and out to sink businesses not help them.

If you think you "need" a loan from this outfit then I would encourage you to seek other alternatives.

You do not want to find yourself or your company at the hands of their lenders & legal firms.

They will attempt to destroy your business, and due to misinformation/mis-selling of financial products you will find it hard to steady the ship out of the mess they create.

I wouldn't wish anybody to go through what we went through as a business or family.

Please do not use this broker.

Transperency & client understanding? These are simply "buzz words" in an attempt to elevate your status.

The bottom line is, on this occassion you have failed at providing a transparent service. I will be supporting my father with his complaint.

I am lucky to still have my business and my father is lucky to still have his home, if it wasn't for us instructing "Bell & Co" then I dread to think where this would of ended up. They cost my business £6,000 but were absolutely worth every penny, as we had to fight fire with fire.

The term "Loan Sharks" I feel is very appropriate, and that didn't originally come from me. Because we were left out on a limb by Lendaline, we had to take matters into our own hands.

During this process we have learned a lot more about your unethical business practices and the lenders you use when organising these bridging facilities

With this new found knowledge I would never entertain doing anything like this again.

Any business owners that have read this far, please learn from our experience.

We have been through hell and back because of Lendaline Business Finance Ltd and a certain individual Oliver MARCH .

We are now in the process of reporting this broker and the individual to the Financial Conduct Authority for mis information and due diligence and as such is taking on our case.

We had a bridging loan secured for our son's business on our residential family home, something we now know is practically unheard of in the FCA world and reputable lenders and solicitors.

Oliver March was the lead behind this financial deceit and mis information.

Firstly he lied about the repayment of the Bridging loan being secured at the end of the 8 month bridging loan period with re finance from their panel of Lenders and not to worry and wouldn't be a problem.

It is now known that any reputable financial adviser would insure that a re finance vehicle is in place before a bridging loans inception, thus ensuring that on the date the bridging loan is due to be repaid it is completed on time.
We then later found out that although we trusted Oliver March and LENDALINE as they are FCA registered, we then find out that the company they used to finance the Bridging Loan was WHITE ROSE HOLDINGS in Israel , affiliated to Barclays Bank. White Rose Holdings are a non regulated finance company not recognised by the FCA and are based in ISRAEL.

The bridging loan was taken out in September 2024 for 8 months and was due to be repaid /refinanced by the 10th May 2025 with severe penalties if not completed on time.
Oliver March failed to even start the search for a new loan to complete on time.
He then found a company TOGETHER to refinance a mortgage who then wanted to increase the £244k initial settlement fee by another 50k for an interest free debt management loan that was being paid at no interest cost effectively costing more money. Totally financially unethical.

The 10th of May 2025 arrived and we were now in default and on the 12th May we received a solicitors letter from Priority Law with a default notice( a very unprofessional and bully boy tactical firm of solicitors who pride themselves of working with loan sharks )

Because of the speed and aggressive nature of Priority Law we had to instruct Bell and Co, a financial strategist who took over our dilemma, This cost us £6000 in fees, but they led us through the whole loan process and were prepared to take it to the courts .

Our saving grace was that although White Rose Holdings had tried to register the charge with the Land Registry in Sept 2024 it was sent back numerous times and at the time of the default it still hadn't been applied , thus potentially leading to delays getting the repossession they were now seeking.

On the 26th JUNE 2025 we were visited by a receiver CG and Co to attempt to take Joint Charge of our family home even though a charge wasn't registered. Lendaline along with White Rose Holdings knew we were still applying for re finance, but now no Lender could process an application whilst a PENDING charge on the title was still outstanding. So effectively White Rose Holdings Solicitors were complicit in the delays due to non registration of the loan on the property.

This now meant an additional £12000 default fee was added to the £244,000 bridging loan and plus another £6000 interest per month. in total of receivers fees and other costs the Loan had reached £280,000, some £36,000 in default fees in less than 3 months. Through negotiations via Bell and Co a settlement figure of £270k was agreed on the basis a refinance was secured no later than the 31st August

We completed the refinance on Friday 29th August 2025 and also incurring our own Solicitors fees of £1800 for conveyancing and securing title over the property.

As a result of the stress of this un avoidable situation due to Lendaline and Oliver March, my wife was rushed into Hospital with a suspected heart attack from the stress along with endless sleepless nights , anxiety , hours of answering phone calls , emails finance applications etc etc.

I would not recommend anyone using Lendaline , lesser people have taken their lives over such rogue companies.

On a personal note we don't know how the likes of Oliver March can sleep at night knowing the misleading practices he and Lendaline go to to get their commission and secure loans, whilst purporting to be professional and ethical financial brokers for Business
