About the Owner/Primary Practicing Dentist: A Lake Forest native, Dr. Heather Hruskocy is thrilled to be opening The Smile Loft in her hometown. The Smile Loft is a modern private dental practice serving patients of all ages conveniently located on the west side of Lake Forest. Dr. Hruskocy is devoted to educating her patients and tailoring their treatment options to best fit their unique needs. She is committed to providing her patients with an honest, friendly, and comfortable dental experience. In 2014, Dr. Hruskocy graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine and earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD.) She has practiced as an associate dentist for the past 8 years in the Chicago neighborhoods of Lincoln Park, Wicker Park, and North Center. This year, Dr. Hruskocy, her husband Doug and their two daughters made the big move back home to Lake Forest. Dr. Hruskocy is excited to open the doors of The Smile Loft and start her new adventure as a small business owner. Growing up in Lake Forest, Dr. Hruskocy attended the School of St. Mary and graduated from Lake Forest High School. While at LFHS, she was on the varsity dance team for four years. Dr. Hruskocy attended the University of Wisconsin in Madison (Go Badgers!), where she received her bachelor of science degree in Biology in 2009. Dr. Hruskocy loves spending time with friends and family trying the best new restaurants, growing fresh vegetables in the backyard with Doug and their girls, and making sure her dog Buddy has the best pup smile on the block! Dr. Hruskocy looks forward to seeing some familiar faces at The Smile Loft, and she can’t wait to meet some new ones as well!
