In theory the service is good, and it is definitely not a scam, but it comes with a few caveats. I licenced 10 songs for a youtube pub quiz video - it took 2 days with some back and forth to get the claims sorted. So you definitely need to plan in advance.

As far as I could see the catalog on mainstream songs is still fairly limited, and navigating the catalogue still feels a bit clunky.

I am sure I will use the service again - but I think it still needs a little time to mature before the process becomes seemless, and the choice of mainstream artists hits grows.

This is the best so far. I cannot fault Lickd not one bit. Plenty of genuine artists to search through for content.

Once you go through the whole process, you learn how easy it is. cant wait to use more mainstream music in my content.

Lickd is a gamechanger. For getting actually good and up-to-date music a tier above the factory-style "songs" you find in stock websites, Lickd's licensing infrastructure really opens new doors for Youtube music selection.

The process is easy. Lickd responds to inquiries in a timely manner and their instructions are clear and concise. Highly recommend.

Paid 2 months membership and $8 for a license that repeatedly gets copyright claims even with all of the license info included in the description. I just disputed a claim that is on a promotional video for a sale that will end on Jan6th 2025. The claimant has 30 days to respond to my claim at which time this video will be worthless. This has happened to me twice on time sensitive videos but, even if it is not time sensitive it is a hassle to have to dispute damn near every time you try to use the content you paid for. Buyer beware!

Their refund policy is a joke, make sure you read them. You can't even use the songs on a branded account. A complicated process. Use something else.

I am finding exactly what I need for each project that I create. I personally have song recommendations but I am sure Lick'd is doing everything they can to continue to broaden their libraries. They already have a ton of music to choose from and their approval process when getting ready to upload to YouTube is fast and easy.

They are always ready to support you in the event that your licenses aren't being approved on time. You're never sitting around guessing with Lick'd

I tried to cancel my subscription because I don't have time to use the service, yet they won't allow me to withdraw. I have tried multiple times, yet, their cancel button remains unclickable.

Copyright claims are cleared fast.

They are so quick to resolve a claims issue IF you were to have one. I had my very first copyright claim and they cleared it in 3 minutes.

Lickd’s immediate attention to clearing copy right claims is super satisfying as a creator. It’s money well spent as a YouTube content creator.

Most of the songs & artists I wanted were not available. Had to make do with what was there which made it hard to match with my content. Not much there for TikTok whether that is TikTok’s fault I don’t know.
With that being said - as a newbie the service was great. Questions were dealt with as fast as the time difference would allow. Songs were cleared fast.

Pretty awesome. Easy to use, great music, clear how-to guides and help center.
