Barber agrees there is no noticeable change. May be that 3-4 months is not enough time...

This was my second order in a short period of time. This order was excellent because it was packaged in a box and not like the last order (WHICH I DID NOT RECEIVE)!!! The last order was broken into or cut into and the product was stolen/taken. I only received the paper/plastic packing.
SO, ship in the boxes, not the paper/plastic bags that are easier to break into!

I won one bottle of the Hair Restorer from an Instagram Giveaway by Lifespan Dermatology in exchange for providing an honest review. I feel like a 3-star review is fair, given my experience.

To start, the giveaway details were unclear on the amount of supply the winner would receive. When I was emailed the code for my free product, I discovered that the code would cover an indefinite supply of product. Not wanting to rip the company off, I emailed asking for clarification. After waiting a couple of days, I finally received a one-sentence response saying, "It is one bottle of the hair restorer." I got my question answered, but I do not feel like that is exceptional customer service. What would have been a more appropriate response is perhaps an apology (given that it was Lifespan Dermatology's fault for not making it clear and giving a code for an endless supply) and a "thank you" for requesting clarification before I may have ordered greater than a one-bottle supply. After that, however, the product came quickly in the mail.

Onto my review of the product details: the directions on the label are not very detailed. I had to look on the website fo find out if I am supposed to apply before or after washing hair. The bottle also says it can be applied on hair tips, while the website makes no mention of that. Additionally, the website calls this product a "mousse." Perhaps this is just my ignorance, but I've only known hair mousse to be a foamy styling product. That is what I was expecting when I first received the Hair Restorer. It is not how I would describe it though. The Hair Restorer product is instead a watery spray.

As for a review of the product itself, I would also rate this generously at 3-stars. I liked that it did not leave any sort of residue on my hair or scalp and it is free of fragrances. I also really enjoyed the vacuum-sealed "Airless Bottle Pump" and felt that it evenly distributed the product in the form of a mist. Unfortunately, I did not notice any difference in hair growth or restoration. I lost a lot of hair after I stopped taking birth control, so I had high hopes that with this product, I would start to see new growth. One bottle, for me, lasted 2.5 months, and I used it consistently every 3 days after I would wash my hair, dispensing a few sprays of product around my scalp each time. The website claims that it "promotes new and thicker hair growth in just 8 weeks." I understand that I might need to use the product for a longer period of time to notice a difference. If I had noticed new hair growth using this product, I was prepared to purchase more; however, I cannot justify spending nearly $70 for a 50 mL bottle, if I am not convinced it's working. Overall, I do not believe it is a bad or harmful product in any way, as the ingredient list looks pretty solid to me, but I will not be purchasing more of this product.

I’ve been using the Skin Restorer from Lifespan for four days in a row and I’m honestly surprised by how quickly it made a difference. The first time I used it my skin felt soft and hydrated right away and by the second day it already looked smoother and a little more even.

After four days my skin feels balanced, fresh, and healthy looking. The dryness and tightness are completely gone and my face has that natural glow again. It’s gentle, absorbs really well, and feels like something my skin actually needed.

Absolutely love all the Lifespan products ! I've been using their products for a while now and I've never been disappointed. My favorite is definitely the Skin Restorer!

I’ve been using Lifespan Dermatology’s Lash Serum for about 8 weeks, and the results are awesome. My lashes are longer, and seem to be a lot healthier. It’s super easy to apply and didn’t irritate my eyes at all. Plus, I’ve noticed way less lash fallout. Definitely recommend if you want naturally better lashes

Having really oily skin, I was hesitant in trying out the Skin restorer. My skin is noticeably less oily and I get a natural glow from it. I also tried the Dark spot remover and noticed the skin around my eyes are firmer. Love these 2 products together!
