Based in North East Derbyshire and close to the Sheffield border, little heart starters focuses on teaching children aged 5+ basic first aid awareness and skills, giving them the knowledge and confidence to be able to deal with a first aid situation should one arise. My little girl went on the little heart starters first aid course and really enjoyed it
They learnt basic first aid, cpr, how to deal with choking all through interactive fun learning, a great course and very informative for kids awareness of first aid and how to help when someone is hurt or ill.

I attended a paediatric first aid awareness course with Sadie and it was great - it was a fantastic overview on a variety of subjects, Sadie was very thorough and informative with lots of practical advice too. Having the opportunity to practice on various dummies and also using a de-fib was really helpful. The addition of a first aid kit and book to take away was great. I would highly recommend this course to anyone with children!

My eldest son, aged 6 has completed a first aid course with Sadie and he absolutely loved it.
He's retained the information really well and can still tell me what you should do in an emergency and if there is an accident how to perform first aid.
Sadie obviously taught the course on a level that was easy for kids his age to understand and retain.
Ive already booked his younger brother on a course suitable for his age range (4 yrs) and I just know he's going to get lots from it like his brother has.

My 3 children aged 14, 11 and 6, although apprehensive to attend, really enjoyed learning the key skills provided by little heart starters. Sadie made the sessions fun and informative and they have come away with new knowledge they were keen to share with the rest of the family. The learning packs, and first aid kits they have been given are also a hit.
I would highly recommend. Excellent value for money.

My grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed their course today & after I collected them I asked what they’d done & the first response was “had fun” followed closely by all the things they’d learned & a lesson for me on how to make a 999 call😉

Our granddaughter came home absolutely enthralled and shared her new knowledge and skills with us. The children were exposed to a lovely mixture of practical experiences, facts and games. They practised CPR on a dummy and on a teddy, bandaging, safe airway position and much more. She came away with a booklet, mini first aid kit and certificate. Fun and informative. Would highly recommend.
