Shade-grown coffee ripens more slowly, creating a richer, more vibrant flavour. We source beans grown exclusively from beneath the tree canopy, to promote a more natural approach. At Live Coffee, we support growers who care for the wild environment, while providing you with truly special coffee. We offer two Coffee Roasts: Multistrata - House Roast Brewed for complexity and balance, our latest single-origin coffee comes from our growing partner in Chiapas, Mexico. Bright and full-bodied flavour, with layers of citrus, chocolate and nuts. Our growing partner Bercy has long practised an organic agroforestry approach, without the use of chemical fertilisers or pesticides. Coffee plants are shade protected by over 300 trees such as Inga, Chalun, Guachipilin. And Fruit trees; Orange and Plantain. Always serves a crowd pleaser with milk, or exceptional as an espresso. Afia - Our Decaf Who said Decaf has to be bland? We source these shade-grown beans from wild jungles of Chiapas, Mexico. The same quality and grow characteristics as our house roast. The beans are sent for decaffeination at a Mountain Water plant in Mexico. This healthier process uses no harsh chemicals that strip away the delicate flavours. The word "afia" has ancient associations in Swahilli and Eastern Afica region with health and vitality. A fitting tribute to our healthier decaf from the birthplace of coffee. A big step up from your typical decaf, that packs the same satisfying flavour punch as a regular brew, without the caffeine. Enjoy throughout the day.

Well worth a try!
I love finding and trying small independent roasters and this didn’t disappoint. The coffee was smooth and chocolaty.
Really interesting to see what they are doing sourcing the coffee and trying to be as sustainable as possible. Looking forward to trying the decaf next.

Amazing flavours!
I've decided to try the Multistrata - House Roast and it's a blast.
Pretty distinctive flavours, roasted to a level that I really enjoy - I bought the beans since my machine grinds them.
Purchase was as easy as can be and delivery was pretty quick.
And always good to buy something that aims to help the world :)
