Initial scepticism led to a satisfactory result
We were initially a little sceptical about approaching Secure Legacy, but after speaking with Theresa and the other team members found the process seamless and easy to follow.
Although they did recommend additional options, they did understand and accept that we had clearly been thinking about this for some time and acknowledged that we knew what we needed. There was never any pressing or guilt trips; just honest and direct advice and we are now sorted in less than 2 weeks.
Very fast and efficient service.

The lack of respect and rudeness caused…
The lack of respect and rudeness caused me to cancel the Will. After being called with 2 persons that showed understanding and politness I have decided to continue with your company.
I was in Marketing and Sales for over 50 years, my staff was trained to Listen, be polite and helpful.
Never, Never would I continue to employ a member of my staff who blatantly lied to a client and pushed hard selling.
Your company needs to review how your staff behave on the telephone or you will lose business and receive bad reviews.
Colin Shaire.

Dear Colin,
Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We are pleased to hear that, following your initial concerns, you have decided to continue with our company and that your subsequent interactions with our team have been positive.
We have reviewed the circumstances surrounding your comments and can confirm that the member of staff you requested to speak with was unavailable at the time of your call. You were advised of this and offered assistance by the member of our team who was available.
At no point was any information deliberately misrepresented to you, and we would refute any suggestion that a member of our staff intentionally lied to you. We expect all members of our team to communicate with customers courteously and professionally, and we are satisfied that the call was handled in accordance with those expectations.
Kind regards,
Secure Legacy

Poor value
Nothing went wrong with the consultation but the time spent discussing my original request 'The Will' was limited. Until I asked there was no no mention of what if something happened to my son for instance? I had to ask for this when I should have been advised. More time was spent trying to get me to consider Power of Attorney and using more of their services. The Will was severely lacking in content and only at my prompting did this change. On reflection it is very poor value for money and a 'do it yourself Will' would be better. Overall not impressed.

My Will sorted in a professional manner
A quick reply to my inquiry, the follow up call from consultant was spot on , all details of my requirements were taken and sent for draft , draft in the form of email was sent in a timely fashion, all was correct and confirmed by myself, just waiting on paper copy.

Hi,
All of our will writers have a legal and ethical duty of care to highlight any potential vulnerabilities or risks in a client’s estate planning. That means we are required to explain additional protections, even if a client has come in only wanting the basics.
The intention is never to pressure, but to ensure that clients are making fully informed decisions, rather than discovering later that something important was never mentioned.
Ultimately, all decisions always remain with you.
Kind Regards - Secure Legacy
feedback
I found the associate who rang initially to take details, very pushy, to the point that I had to tell her to stop pressurising me. She got my address wrong after I repeated it.
Since then your associates have been very helpful and understanding.
