The admin team were very helpful and extremely professional. My only criticism is that the phone call i received was a bit like hard sell trying to get me to give them power of attorney for £300. That was all he seemed to be interested in . The will itself was perfect and i couldn't fault anything else.

All the hallmarks of a scam
I dislike very much the fact that they wanted me to pay £47 to secure the planned call to discuss with a will writer. No credible business should be doing that. When I said that I was not prepared to pay to book, she hung up immediately.

All of our will writers have a legal and ethical duty of care to highlight any potential vulnerabilities or risks in a client’s estate planning. That means we are required to explain additional protections, even if a client has come in only wanting the basics.

14 Day Cooling off period they failed…
14 Day Cooling off period they failed to inform me about
I contacted Secure Legacy via a mobile phone link which came up while I was reading through the news on google, I enquired about looking for a will as I have no one in my life to leave anything too and wanted to arrange for everything to go to a children's charity, they phoned me the next day 21st Oct 2025 they phoned me and basically hounded me to do it, said they could take care of everything that I just had to pay them the fee of around £30+ but they wanted 2-3 people names and addresses they could add to the will, I said I need to see if I could find anyone as I had no one, they said I could use anyone, a relative or friends, I don't have any relatives, and no friends that who I had been in contact with for years, so needed time to find people, an older friend is in his late 80s and another lived over 120 miles away from me and I had not spoke to her in a few years and did not have a number for her, when I got back to them after a while as I had spent time in hospital again from complications of a recent heart attack the year before, I gave them the 2 friends that I could, then they said I needed a Power of Attorney for the will and needed to name someone, and this would cost another £399 which they did not tell me about, I argued back and forth with them and told them just to refund me, they told me the cooling period had passed, THEY DID NOT TELL ME OF ANY 14 DAY COOLING OFF PERIOD, I checked through all emails and everything, no mention of it, I only spoke to them on the phone once I think, and this was never mentioned, they said they sent me the will and details to which I never received, this has all been a nightmare for me.
Don't use these people, they took my money £399, lied to me, not mentioning anything about a 14 day cooling off period, and would not refund me, and from what I have read here they don't follow through when someone dies, they just wait and ignore people, and cry innocent.
DO NOT USE THEM!!!

Please do not believe anything they tell you, they did not supply me with 14 day cooling off period and never provided PROOF of it at all, hence they are a company you should never trust, they just want your money no matter the consequences of how they get it.
To think I would go forward with this is absolutely ridiculous, as I will not trust them with anything, watch now as they will threaten me with legal action if I do not remove this post, to which I WILL NOT.
Again today Secure Legacy tried to say my review was defamatory, so Trustpilot took it offline to review it, exactly 1 hour later Trustpilot emailed me to say it is not defamatory at all and put it back online, I think they also tried ringing me, number not known BLOCKED. But a BIG Thank You to Trustpilot :-)
Avoid doing any business with Secure Legacy if you want to keep your money SAFE.
THEY ARE NOT A UK BASED COMPANY, THEY ARE BASED IN GIBRALTAR FOR A REASON.

Like I have said to you via email I contacted you at night through a mobile link, then you phoned me early next morning, everything was done via phone and email, I did not know you had a website until long after this argument so don't try and play innocent, you people took my money and ran like you have done with so many which have also made reviews stating exactly the same, you are SCAMMERS, hence why you hide in GIBRALTAR.

I had NO knowledge of any 14 day cooling off period, none of your staff made me aware of it, like I said I only had contact via Phone/Email, nobody said anything, nobody emailed me anything about 14 day cooling off period.
I asked for refund on returning from a long stay in hospital, and after finding the notes I had, because I never visited your website so did not know of it AS NO ONE TOLD ME, DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT I AM SAYING OR DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND PLAIN ENGLISH.
I wanted a refund and you refused even though you pushed and pushed for me to take the LPA which I did not want in the first place, but you pushed me into it.
No I do not want your services and still wish to be refunded my £399, I am going to contact your government and tell them of your business practices and hope they shut you down, as you are SCAMMERS to old/retired people.

We therefore strongly disagree with your repeated accusation that Secure Legacy has “scammed” you. This is entirely inaccurate and, is defamatory. We have not “taken your money and run”, nor have we refused to engage with your concerns. We have responded to you and explained the basis of our position.
We respect your right to express dissatisfaction with a service, but we would ask that reviews remain factual and do not contain unfounded allegations about our business or staff.
