Left keys in flat. Only 1 yale lock on door. Phone these guys, he says £39 to sort it on phone. Arrives , drilled lock out in 5 minutes, charged us £114 and didn’t even replace the lock. Remember your keys and avoid dealing with this shower of robbers.

I was looking for keyed alike locks and came across Lockmonster, I ordered one deadlock & a sashlock to be keyed alike. They delivered on time, well packaged and exactly what I had requested.

Like a scam. Left keys inside. Called Lockmaster, said £49 if they can open lock.

Half hour later, young guy turns up, says can’t open it will need to drill lock out (£140+) & pay for new lock.

He suggested that he could have opened it but following process. Attitude was awful, so I cancelled the job.

Called a local company recommended on a local Facebook group. Said they could definitely open it for £80. Came in 10 mins & opened door straight away in 10 seconds.

So they could have opened it for the quoted £49 (Google ad says from £35) but wanted to charge £140 + vat to drill out lock that don’t need drilling out.

Laura Richard’s and Bhushan are both confused and Lockmaster has never done any work for either of these people. Thanks

I had an awful experience with Locksmaster.co.uk and strongly advise others to steer clear of them. The lock wasn’t up to to British standards regulations. It was put in the wrong way resulting in calling out another locksmith who was amazing and rectified it to a safe high standard.
Company was dissolved but still trading: They were operating even though their company had been dissolved. This is incredibly shady.
Price Gouging: The price they initially quoted was £78, but upon arrival, it suddenly jumped to £135 without explanation.
Upselling a ridiculous product: They tried to sell me a high-security lock for £250 – completely overpriced for what was offered.
Terrible customer service: The staff were rude and unprofessional when I tried to address these issues.
I would not trust them and would recommend finding a more reliable and honest locksmith. There are plenty of reputable companies out there, but Locksmaster.co.uk is not one of them. They have been reported to trading standards and fraud action.

Made an error on my order and phoned up and spoke to a very helpful chap. Made the changes on the phone, no fuss and didn't hold up the delivery!

I had looked for a review for this company before I ordered but couldn't find one on Trustpilot. After a bit of research I found out they are part of MB DIY which has good reviews so decided I would order as their online security key cutting service was quite a bit cheaper than the competition. The communication was excellent, they use a courier who gives you a specific 2 hour delivery window and I had my new keys within 3 working days of ordering. I rarely write reviews but I was really impressed by the service provided for the price!
