I had a bespoke diamond engagement ring made to order and was very happy with the whole buying process from start to finish. With no previous experience of buying jewellery I needed some extra help which Phil and Rory were happy to provide. They helped me to find the best diamond for the budget I had available. The end product was beyond any expectations I could have had (and was approximately a third of the cost it would have been to go to a mainstream jeweller). Have already recommended LDE to family and friends (having had LDE recommended to me).

Superb service from start to finish, very transparent and the staff were extremely knowledgable. Will certainly be recommending their services to friends and family.

He provided expert advice and I bought the perfect ring (to help in getting the right answer!). Having seen a number of other rings recently I know that the ring I received was both of the highest quality for the right price and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Phil and London DE for anyone looking to ask a certain question.

My boyfriend found this place on the internet and contacted Phil who arranged for Rory to meet with us as we were looking for an Emerald engagement ring. Rory was very patient in explaining to us various details and information about Emeralds that was impossible to obtain anywhere on the internet or just by browsing through shops and asking various retailers for opinions. He brought a few sample Emeralds to show us and he also picked an amazing Emerald that aligned with exactly what we wanted and within the price my boyfriend was looking for. It was an amazing journey designing this ring. Both Phil and Rory are very friendly, patient and helpful. The knowledge Rory has about Emeralds (even Rubies and Sapphires) is vast and impressive. The diamonds picked out for us to be placed around the Emerald was also of amazing quality. All in all we were extremely happy with the service, the quality of the gems they offered and the workmanship of the ring was also impeccable. I definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for that very special ring for their special someone!

Making a jewellery purchase online/overseas certainly provides it’s challenges. However, I can’t speak highly enough of the level of professionalism and service that Philip and the London Diamond & Emerald Exchange provided throughout the entirety of this process. Philip went above and beyond to ensure we got exactly what we wanted (Whilst minimising any potential stress/anxiety) and at a more than competitive price. We couldn’t be more thankful for stumbling across LDE as they have exceeded even our wildest expectations. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending LDE to any in the market looking to purchase some quality jewellery, but in particular, Colombian Emeralds.

Very happy with this service, these are good people. Found them while browsing for an emerald ring over the web, met Phil in Hatton Garden who took me down to the workshop. Was given an interesting background lesson on emeralds by Rory who had recently purchased a good new selection of stones. They then helped me design a ring for my wife (a birthday present) and it was finished, ready and looking beautiful within 5 days. If you don’t want to spend thousands of extra pounds for the frills of shopping in a top west end store then these are your guys. The result is just the same. Will go back to them again when I have another requirement and would certainly recommend to friends.

I have just received my engagement ring and it is beautiful. Phil was fantastic! He was there every step of the way, I felt completely included and he put my mind at total rest. I can’t wait to use the service again when it comes to making a wedding ring.
