Dear Thomas, we received your return request filed on Thursday and responded on Monday, as clearly advised on our website we aim to respond to all queries within 2 working days, we are sorry to hear this timeframe does not meet your expectations. As explained via email, we are quite surprised to read your review and find it extremely misleading, especially considering the fact that it was published after we emailed you. The product you ordered is not faulty, you claim it presents a visual defect, which we are sorry about and provided you with return instructions for a refund. We notice you have only ever posted negative reviews on trustpilot and hope you can one day be the recipient of a positive only shopping experience somewhere.

Rip Off

LOST MONEY NOT TO BE TRUSTED. Bought a toy which was faulty (had to keep the on button pressed for it to work correctly), complained and returned the item. Then received a reply that they had tested it and it was working - how convenient for them... They then had the affront to suggest they send it back to me if I paid postage!! Why would I pay to get a faulty product back? Lost my money, really shoddy outfit and not to be trusted.

UPDATE to Loveoutlet reply (21-07-25) I wouldn't say I was unlucky as 4 negative reviews compared to hundreds of products bought online is not uncommon. Unfortunately it is the only recourse customers have sometimes. The vibrator had not been used as you say, simply opened and tested to see if it would function correctly, as for 'non eligible use' of our freepost address, I merely followed the instructions when you authorised the return. I imagine others will read your response and make up their own minds.

Dear Anthony, looking at the other reviews you posted on trustpilot (all negative 1 star reviews), you seem to have a lot of problems ordering products online, you must be a very unlucky customer. As advised via email, we have inspected the £9.99 mini vibrator you returned as faulty multiple times and found it functions correctly with no faults. We exceptionally waved the shipping fee for the non eligible use of our freepost address, however we are unable to issue a refund on the item as it has been used and functions correctly. We have absolutely no reason to refuse a faulty return it the item is actually faulty, whether a refund or an exchange is requested for the simple reason that our suppliers are the ones who issue the refund or the exchange. Whilst we are sorry about your experience on this order, we find your review extremely defamatory.

In regards to your response, you are right, we notice you did write an additional 2 star reviews, those businesses must have done something right to earn an extra star from you. In regards to your mention of a "recourse", please note we do not change our policies following on the publishing of a defamatory review. We have absolutely no doubt over the fact that the insignificant number of people who visit our trustpilot page and read your review, will make up their mind, perhaps they will even click on your profile to take a better look at the other reviews you left. In the meantime, we hope you enjoy the product from the first order you placed with us in 2023, where you unsurprisingly left us no reviews.

Ordered a clone dildo toy and was excited to get it for the partner. However, first thing I may mention it advises it is a 4 step process but upon getting it and opening the instructions it is actually a 20 step process. Also, the instructions will advise to cut to a certain diameter but if you are a big size it will not fit. I approached customer service to resolve the matter and got a reply of use your common sense and was not interested in the fact they supplied me with a product which did not accommodate my size. I would suggest to try lovehoney as when I have dealt them before, customer service is more satisfactory.

Dear Steve, we're sorry to hear you were not fully satisfied with your purchase of a Cloneboy kit. The product description does mention "The simplicity of the kit enables you to create your own Clone in a few easy steps", the illustration does show 4 key steps, however we indeed find it to be common sense to expect a little more steps in between, such as cutting the mould to the appropriate size. The other retailer you mentioned in your review has the exact same returns policy and retails the exact same products of the exact same brand. Unfortunately we are not in the habit of issuing refunds or credit notes when threatened with a bad review.

We are surprised by your review and the rating, we find it misleading and unfair. You placed an order for delivery to Kuwait, we stopped your order and warned you that the import of the products you selected was restricted in Kuwait and that it was extremely unlikely for the order to clear customs and be delivered successfully. We stressed that we could not be held liable in case there was any issue with local customs. You responded that you understood and "accepted the risks" and asked to proceed with dispatch of the order to Kuwait. As we had warned you was likely to happen, Kuwaiti customs blocked the import of the parcel.

I see you contacted our customer care on the day your order was meant to be delivered and an investigation was filed with Royal Mail in regards to the lack of updates on the tracking. I see your order was delivered 5 days later, not 2 weeks. As explained via email, these types of issues and delays are extremely rare with Royal Mail and sadly totally out of our control. It seems you are very unlucky when it comes with deliveries as I see your profile only contains 1 star reviews regarding late deliveries. Dear Sandra, I notice you emailed our customer care 3 hours ago, please note as clearly advised on our website we aim to respond to all queries within 2 working days. I see you emailed regarding the shipping label on your parcel not mentioning the flat letter "b", this is simply due to the fact that you did not specify this in the address you entered when placing the order. We do not write addresses manually, all shipping labels are printed automatically. To avoid these kinds of issues, your order confirmation email does remind you to check the shipping address and to contact us immediately should the address have any errors or be missing any details. It's my understanding you did not contact us to rectify this issue. We recommend that you request for your parcel to be collected from a local shop, where you will be able to pick it up with any valid form of ID. For those reasons, we find your review quite unfair and kindly ask that you review it as we cannot be held responsible for you failing to enter your correct address when placing the order and failing to contact us in an attempt to rectify it, we also quite truthfully find your expectations to obtain a response to your email in 3 hours simply ridiculous.

Beware! They will never admit mis-packaging!

Ordered two items including a small bullet. Received the package and only found the larger item in it with lots of packaging paper! Checked everything thoroughly but no second item found. After contacting them they insisted that both items were packaged quoting their high tech surveillance technology that records all packaging procedure and weighs every package to match to the expected weight. What a lot of b***!!! Never using them again!

See what I mean! The item in question, mini bullet, only costs £10 and I am being treated as I’m trying to cheat them . Well I have already reordered the item from another provider and I have the email to prove that. So no I did not receive the item and I’m not trying to cheat you out of £10. Dear Georgia, that is not quite what happened. You contacted us claiming that you were missing "one item", we asked you which item and you were unable to respond, you proceeded to explain that you had only received one dispatch confirmation email. We explained to you that our system sends a dispatch confirmation for each item, and that as we could see from the screenshot of your email inbox that you shared, you did receive both dispatch confirmation emails for both items in your order, your email inbox simply grouped both of these emails and you needed to click at the top to see the first email you received. Following on several email exchanges, you continued to claim that an item was missing, unable to confirm which one. Considering the serious nature of the claim and despite the obvious confusion on your side as well as the fact that you had not even opened your parcel before making such claim, we did initiate an internal investigation. We made you aware of the fact we had never had such an issue in our entire trading history, that our fulfilment process is under video surveillance and that all our parcels' weights are recorded at different stages of the fulfilment process by ourselves and the couriers they are dispatched with. Upon completing our investigation, we were able to confirm that both items were indeed packed into the parcel and that the weight of the parcel at all stages at which it was recorded matched the expected weight of the parcel containing both items. Additionally, we also checked your tracking which featured a photo of the parcel taken by the courier at delivery, the photo showed absolutely no sign of damage. We are beyond confused by your claims which are extremely serious and quite damaging to our reputation, no business can possibly stay alive by not sending all products their customers order. We do find it beyond surprising that you would be the first customer in our entire trading history missing an item, when you made this claim even before opening your parcel.

We are sorry that you feel we offered you a "rubbish" service and need to be "avoided like the plague" by ensuring that the order you placed with next day delivery was dispatched as fast as possible and delivered right on time, seeing as you have not requested any return we can only assume that you are happy with the products you purchased and having taken a look at the other reviews you posted on other company pages (all 1 star reviews), we can only assume that you find it challenging to be pleased about any experience you have with any business.

What a joke of a company they offer a delivery service that just dumps it at your door then it's sitting there they reply to your email in such a manner that is total wrong for a company they tell you you should deal with the delivery service your self when ordering pay by credit card as they cover you on sights like this under the consumer act for items not received as this company will try not return your money and do everything they can to be un helpful as possible

Dear Tony Cuxton, you placed an order selecting DPD Express Next Day as the delivery method and requested directly to DPD that your order be left in a "safe place" that you designated, your "rear porch". You placed your order at 11pm on 28th May, your order was dispatched the next morning, you received a notification from us with the tracking number and shortly after from DPD, asking you to take action directly with the courier should you be unable to attend when delivery is scheduled. The next morning, DPD notified you of the delivery window and notified you again once the parcel had been delivered to the designated safe place as you requested. You contacted us another day later, while you were abroad in Australia, asking if there was anything we could do about your order having been delivered to the safe place you designated while you were abroad and that you had placed the order using the wrong card and wished to cancel the order to place a new one. You proceeded to make several complaints and claimed that your order was not there upon your return. You then proceeded to file a chargeback with your bank for the reason "product not acceptable". As already explained, neither us nor DPD can be held responsible for your claim that the parcel was not where you had asked the courier to leave it upon your return from Australia a week later. We have absolutely no idea why you chose a next day delivery option while you were across the globe, nor why you did not take action to schedule a delivery at a later date or a collection from your local pick up shop, you had plenty of opportunities to do so and were reminded of these through the multiple notifications you received from us and DPD. Your review is nothing short of misleading and defamatory and your actions with your bank are simply fraudulent. If someone has stolen your parcel from the place you asked the courier to deliver it, you need to take action with the police, not with the shop you ordered something from nor with the courier you instructed to leave your parcel by a rear porch door from.

We respond to all queries within 2 working days and if you have not received your order within 5 days of the estimated delivery date we take action on your behalf with the courier by filing a claim, we then either proceed with a full refund or dispatch a new order. Your review is simply misleading.

In response to your updated review providing an order number: We have checked and have received no communications from you whatsoever - in addition, we have checked your tracking which shows that your order was collected from the post office following on 2 unsuccessful delivery attempts, which requires proof of identification. Your signature is on the tracking. We can therefore only assume that your review is beyond misleading and simply defamatory.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Zero Stars! Disgusting customer service, extremely rude and patronising. DO NOT order from this website, they do not deserve your money. We paid (a lot) for fast delivery, we have not received our items, nor a refund (1+ month later) We are taking legal action as they should not be allowed to get away with this behaviour, and no one else should have to suffer the experience (I have never experienced anything like it).
I’m sure they will respond to this post with a wonderfully phased (cocky) response, because (as always) they cannot accept liability, and in their eyes the customer is always in the wrong.
The last email we received from them basically said we cannot contact them again (we have been nothing but polite and are just seeking clarification of when we will receive a full refund).
I don’t usually leave reviews, but due to unbelievably bad experience I feel people need to be warned.
A note to the company: Please send all of your ‘customer service’ team on training pronto, because what they’re giving is not customer service!
