Sham of a company!

It has been over a month since ordering and I have not received my item. I chased on the 8th December and got a delivery date of the 15th. 15th came without have a dispatch email so i chased again and am now being ignored.

Ordered two identical door trims and when they arrived one was fine, but the other was extremely bent. I then sent photos of this which they then said they needed more. I chased for a reply for them to say it will be fine so weren’t going to replace them. However the state of one of them was terrible, it would be impossible to get it back to shape without snapping it. Should have read all the bad reviews of this place. Never again waste of money

Please note I have placed an order with this company and haven’t received the items. What I didn't realise when I ordered is that this company cannot be contacted. The phone number rings as if ‘off the hook’ they have never replied to an email. I have requested a call back and haven’t had one… the live chat facility doesn’t work either. The only thing I haven’t tried is going to their office address as this is over an hour away for me but now wonder if this address even exists or if the company exists?

Terrible service. Delivery was over 1 month and when the handrail finally arrived, it’s completely broke and split into two pieces. Terrible service all round

Unfortunately I share a similar experience to many reported on here.

I ordered a couple of door edge stopper kits 4 weeks and not only have these not yet arrive, the online order still says the order is being processed! Delivery was quoted as 3-18 working days, and that time has now elapsed with no further information received.

I've been trying to contact the company, both through the online message system and by telephone. I have received no reply to messages and it is impossible to contact anyone on the phone.
Neither has there been any proactive communication from the company to discuss progress or delays.

Communication and reliable delivery timescales are the foundations of a good company, and at this point - for me at least - they are demonstrating neither. This is my first order through LoveSkirting, and based on my current experience, it will be the last.

UPDATE 12/12/2022

I have still been unable to contact LoveSkirting regarding my order, and sent this to them this morning. I have no confidence that this message will be responded to, but have to make one more attempt before pursuing it legally.

"I am making one more attempt to contact you before referring this to Trading Standards through the CAB, and putting in a small claims request.

My order was placed 1 month ago - now 21 working days, and was due for delivery in 3-18 working days.

You are not responding to online messages, emails and the phone is not answered. There has been zero communication from you after the acknowledgement of the order on the day I placed it. This has all the indications of a scam based on Trading Standards advice, and I will be reporting it as this if I do not receive by order by return."

Desperately looking for reasonably priced 21mm dowel and found Love Skirting on Google. What a relief.
Order process was very straightforward, communication was good, delivery was prompt, product was excellent. Would definitely recommend Love Skirting and will definitely be back.

Placed an order 4 weeks ago. Unable to contact customer services via email or phone with no reply despite quick replies last time using this company. Parcel has been despatched but no update since that email 2 weeks ago

Useless. Avoid. terrible service all round.
Charge £20 (yes £20!!) for a small parcel delivery for a stock item. Promise a delivery date 8 days after the order and inform me that Parcelforce are delivering. Next day they email to say Tuffnells are delivering. 10 days after the order noone has delivered. They don't answer the phone and fail to respond to the "Live Chat" that isn't actually live. Rare to find a company that offers such a poor level of service. Disaster.

This company is impossible to contact. My delayed order has still not arrived and I’m actually wondering if I’ve been scammed.

I placed an order 8 days ago (20th November), have had no confirmation of the order or despatch, still waiting for the product to arrive.

Tried contacting them via phone, email and chat, no response anywhere.

This level of customer service is not acceptable. Would steer clear of this company.

Update on 6th December: Now got an email saying items are scheduled for delivery on 2nd December, still been nothing delivered. Also received email on 5th December with details of courier and link for tracking, follow the link and told that item has not be given to courier. Now over 2 weeks since order placed and it has not even been dispatched, you have to pay £20 for delivery!!!!.

LoveSkirting only respond to 5 star reviews on here!!!!

Update - 9th December
Parcel was finally delivered on 7th December. Product was well packaged and is good quality (for a piece of wood). Shame that the company is so bad at keeping the customer informed and answering calls and emails. The time taken for order to dispatch is way to long.

User friendly website offering competitive and clear pricing. Prompt delivery. Item arrived very well packaged and the quality is excellent. I am really pleased.

The oak pigs ear handrail arrived at 9am and was fitted by midday. It was carefully wrapped and the delivery man carried it up our narrow road from the main road!

The handrail is really smooth and a delight to use!

The threshold we ordered is just what we needed, the quality is excellent, wax finish is superb and matches the floor perfectly. Speedy delivery and very well packaged. If we needed any more, I'd definitely order from Love Skirting.

Placed an order on 31/10/22. They said delivery would be 3-18 days. Got an email on 16/11 stating that delivery would be on 23/11. I was reassured when on 21/11, I got an email saying my order had been dispatched.
It is now 25/11 and I have still not received my order. When I try to track it on the parcelforce website, it says no delivery has yet been scheduled.
Emails have been sent to loveskirting but no one has bothered to reply.
I will keep on trying them but to anyone thinking of using this company - don’t! Not unless you want to wait for ages and then not be able to reach anyone when they fail to deliver the product you paid for ages ago. Customer service is obviously not a priority!

Update: still no sign of order. Got an email on 26/11 basically saying they have no idea where my order is and would I like another one. Since my immediate response we are back to radio silence.
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS

Update: Parcel force have confirmed the order is still with loveskirting and has not been dispatched. No response from two further emails I have sent to this disgraceful company. What a mess

Ordered Oak T Bar thresholds for doorways and new flooring, arrived quickly and very well packed including support wood to ensure no damage in transit. Well thought out

I ordered an oak threshold strip to connect my new porch floor to my existing hall way, the strip when arrived was extremely well packaged and strengthened with a support to stop any damage during transit.
It is a good quality wood with an excellent finish. Would definitely use this company again 👍

Good door trim. Fast delivery and lovely oak I've waxed to match flooring. Will use again when I redo kitchen.

LoveSkirting were able to provide a beautiful oak door threshold strip to join 2 different types of wood flooring at different heights. It is sold as “wood to carpet” but works fine for “wood to wood”.
Also really well packed to prevent any damage.
