If our website and social media messaging created the expectation that orders placed after a certain date would be dispatched after Christmas, then we can appreciate how confusing and inconvenient it must have been for your order to arrive earlier than expected, especially with limited freezer space over the holiday period. We’re also sorry that you felt your concerns were not handled with the level of understanding and communication you deserved.

Regarding the bread arriving wet, our products are dispatched frozen to help maintain freshness during transit, which can occasionally lead to condensation inside the packaging as temperatures change. However, we understand this may not have been what you expected and appreciate you raising it.

We also sincerely apologise for the delay in responding to your follow-up email. We know delayed communication only adds to customer frustration. We have recently been making substantial improvements to our customer service systems and processes, particularly around response times and issue handling, because we recognise this has not always met the standard we want to provide.

From what you’ve described, it sounds like there was both a delivery delay and a breakdown in communication afterwards, and we sincerely apologise for that. We know that when customers are ordering fresh food products, especially temperature-sensitive items, delays naturally cause concern.

For reassurance, our products are packed to travel safely within the courier network, but we absolutely understand why you would lose confidence after several days without delivery updates or responses from us.

We’re also very sorry that your emails and voicemail were not responded to. That’s not the level of customer care we aim to provide. From what you’ve described, it sounds like the loaves you received were clearly not up to the standard you should expect from us, and we completely understand your frustration at then struggling to get a response when trying to raise the issue. We sincerely apologise for both the product quality problem and the lack of communication afterwards.

While occasional squashing can sometimes happen in transit, loaves being significantly undersized or compressed is obviously not acceptable, and we appreciate you taking the time to report it properly through multiple channels.

You are also absolutely right that customer support needs to be accessible and responsive. We know that during that period our communication and response handling fell below the standards customers deserved, and we have since been investing heavily in improving our customer service systems, staffing, and processes to address exactly these kinds of issues.

We’re sorry to hear the bread rolls weren’t to your taste though. Low-carb bread can definitely be one of the trickiest products to get right, and we know preferences vary hugely depending on what people are used to from traditional bread products. We do appreciate the honesty, especially as you mentioned you’ve found similar issues with other low-carb breads too.
