I was given a £100 gift voucher as a birthday present and quite frankly not a sight or company I would use. Over priced for the quality, terrible website design as it kept crashing on use. The size of the tops are completely out…, not sure if made in China. So called customer service is poor and dismissive. Happy not to use or recommend to anyone.

Unfortunately I was given a gift voucher for this company. Customer service is prompt but dismissive and frankly unhelpful. They clearly do not care thus such bad reviews. Persons think it’s also over priced for what it is. The sizing is completely off like it’s made in China. Will not be using or recommending to anyone .

Online orders all come from Melbourne to NZ!

This review is for corporate head office for Australia and NZ and how slow the online system is with despatching orders . 4 days later and still waiting for my items to be picked up from their warehouse and the tracking number for DHL doesn’t work! Do not order online for anything to be shipped to NZ because everything comes from melbourne and it’sy slow!! Why don’t you allow people to pay for express shipping when they need something urgently .

Beware of returned items being sent out and customer service

Bought some 3 items during the Black Friday sale, they had to divide the delivery into 2 parcels, the 1st parcel arrived perfectly. However the 2nd parcel arrived with item not in your typical brand new state. The Soft Jersey SS arrived not in the plastic bag, with plastic bag next to it. And the worse one is the Fleece-Lined Jogger arrived with the tag completely off, and no plastic bag. Very suspiciously looking like a customer returned item.

Contact customer service, first agent Holly brushed off the situation with a condescending response how their warehouse will have a tear in the packaging (even though it's not how I'd described the situation). Thanks for sharing the feedback and ignored everything else in my email.

Subsequent customer services response aren't any better, their offer of resolution is allowing me to have an once-off exception to return their item for a full refund, over their usual policy of not allowing returns due to final sales.

Just want to bring this experience to people and how customer service have acted on this so you have clear visibility. What a joke of a company.

Be very careful if you have the intention to buy an online voucher!!!!!! I have just ordered an online voucher for A$300 for my daughter in law's birthday. The money has been taken out of my account. Then I went to my email account and find an email saying that unfortunately for security reasons my voucher could not be delivered. The money will be refunded and it would take up to 4 business days to get the money back on the account??!!!!! Just a joke and absolutely unprofessional. No help or solution after talking with customer care over the phone waiting up to an hour. Soooo upsetting......

Poor customer service

Poor customer service. Purchased a gift card in Australian dollars, and they issued in US dollars. They would not exchange for the correct currency. Lorna Jane tops Lululemon!

Poor quality control - 2 pieces of the clothes still have the security tags attached

I am extremely disappointed with my recent Lululemon Australia order (#AU04547463). Out of 5 pieces I purchased, 2 still had security tags attached. This is the second time this has happened — the first was in December 2024.

I’ve since left Australia and brought the items back to Singapore, but the SG Lululemon store cannot remove AU tags because they use a different security system. I had planned to wear these clothes for an upcoming event, but now I cannot.

To make matters worse, the Canada team can reply within 1 day, while the AU team takes 7–10 business days — far too slow to resolve urgent issues. I’ve spent good money, but I can’t even wear what I purchased. For a premium brand, this is unacceptable.

Lululemon should take responsibility as one brand and resolve issues internally instead of making customers chase different regions. This experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing.

Appalling customer service - Refused return for faulty unworn item

Refused return for faulty unworn item. Ordered two long sleeved tops online. After trying them for fit when they arrived (good fit, so far so good) I washed them. When hanging one up a hole opened up as I was hanging it up. I want to be clear here - I didn’t pull the top, it wasn’t caught in anything in the washing machine or as I hung it up, it just popped open under its own weight. I was surprised and a little frustrated, but as a long standing customer, I assumed it would be a simple matter to return the top (I attached a photo). Think again - Lululemon refused to refund me! I have wasted around $90 on a t-shirt I have never worn and can’t wear now. They cited wear and tear. I have tried to follow up and asked to speak to a manager twice. No response. I just can’t believe the arrogance. Appalling customer service. I guess they think they can just get away with treating customers like liars by trading on their brand.

Upset and humiliated

I will copy my complaint to this review.
This is for today ( Sunday ) at the Kotara store in NSW Australia

I am lodging a formal complaint regarding an extremely upsetting incident at Kotara today..

I purchased a pair of Align tights last week these were recommeded to me as i have started a fitness journey and these are the second pair i got from you guys this week ( the others were the wundertrain ) so i have spent nearly $300. After wearing the aligns for only half an hour, they began rolling down at the waist. Because I work long hours, it’s difficult for me to get to a store, so I contacted online. They advised me to take them in today, which is why I made the trip. I drove one hour to the store specifically for this issue. I just wanted a swap. Or a smaller size. I tried asking her if it could be sizing but she was too busy looking at the tights and didn't answer me.

I was told in a high pitched extremely condescending tone the tag did not match the inside barcode because the year was different? ( i still dont really get this? and where would i find a fake tag?). I explained that this was the original tag from purchase and that the tights were from here a week ago! I was even happy to exchange them or take a different pair instead of a refund, but the associate refused outright.

Throughout the interaction, she repeatedly spoke to me in a high-pitched, condescending tone (“yes, anyway, mmhmm”) that came across as fake, dismissive, and incredibly rude. She made me feel like a liar, even disputing where in the store I had picked them up, until I physically showed her the display. She kept inspecting the tights as if trying to prove they were worn and was effectively asking me to leave.

I was not angry, but I was embarrassed, humiliated, and visibly upset to the point of tears. The way she treated me was awful and this is without question the worst retail experience I have ever had. I went out to my car and cried!

I have now wasted over two hours of driving, still have the faulty product, and have had no resolution and have just been humiliated and treated like a liar. Under Australian Consumer Law, a tag/barcode mismatch does not void my right to a refund for a faulty product. But even so, this is not my fault. Something has happened in store! I don't particularly want the wrong tights either?!
Edit. I have just noticed on the wundertrain tights that I also purchased from this store this week. The inner barcode also says 2024. ( this is the reason she wouldn't return them ) so both tights have the same inner barcode not matching the tags.

Buyer Beware

This company used sell good quality - not anymore - purchased a Softstream pant and hoodie set - the fabric looks good but marks and does not wash clean - staff confirmed this fabric is an issue with marking (paid over $300) but when I went through their so called customer service system I was offered nothing - the fabric is not fit for purpose - who wants a casual tracksuit that you need to treat like a silk garment - I will not shop there again

Disappointed

Used to love Lululemon but the quality isn’t the same anymore. My leggings started pilling after just a few wears and customer service didn’t really help. For the price, it’s just not worth it anymore. Super disappointed.

Corporate Arrogance at its Finest

Briefly and by way of background I ordered two items in the Christmas sale. I received an email confirming my order and my credit card was immediately debited (pending transaction). However, because of a problem in the ordering system at lululemon the order never fed through to the warehouse team and by the time the error had been spotted the items I ordered had already sold out.

Especially relevant here is the fact that this is not an unknown problem. The same thing happened to me 12 months ago and lululemon are wholly aware that this problem sometimes occurs in their online ordering system.

I complained to customer resolutions and asked for a discount voucher. My reasoning was simple; it wasn’t my fault I hadn’t received the items and since I’d missed out on the sale items at least give me a discount so i could buy a couple of similar items and get them at a similar price. Seemed like that would provide a reasonable outcome and i didn’t think it was a “big” ask.

I ended up exchanging about 4 emails over this matter with the “guest education centre”. In each case I found the resolutions team wholly unhelpful and lacking any sense of empathy or desire to find a resolution.

As per other reviews left, I do think there is a real problem in terms of lulu taking ownership for problems. There is an underlying arrogance in their approach and communication style. Even the title of the resolutions team as the “guest education centre” highlights their patronising approach.

AVOID
Bought a pair of leggings and was very happy with them at first but they developed a hole after less than 2 months. Contacted customer service and was told nothing they could do, even though I have correctly cared for them as per instructions. Customer service couldn't care less about customer loyalty or short period of time leggings had been owned and told me point blank they were not responsible for defect. I appreciate things don't last forever but at this cost, less than 2 months simply isn't acceptable and customer service was appalling. Would avoid and not buy from them again.

Soft and comfortable

So easy to order with fast delivery and easy swaps and returns. The fabrics are buttery soft and wash well. The fabrics can be a little bit warm to wear as they don’t really breathe much, but they feel so good.  i’ve been using and wearing Lululemon for over 20 years and I keep going back for more and more.
