I have purchased 2 beautiful Chanel handbags & they are both like new! I asked lots of questions relating to both bags before purchasing & and was answered & helped all the way through! I purchased a bag from this seller and now have concerns about its authenticity, so I’m in the process of having it re-authenticated. What raised red flags for me is that the seller’s name changed to luvluxlondon, which I initially assumed was a simple rebrand or the opening of a boutique. I also saw what seemed to be the same seller active on Vinted.
However, a few months later, their accounts disappeared from both Vestiaire Collective and Vinted. This was last year. Recently, I noticed what appears to be the same seller re-emerging, as the listings feature identical photography settings (same sofa/chair), suggesting it’s the same individual or business. Their new account shows many “sold” items, which could easily make buyers feel comfortable, but now I’m unsure how genuine those sales were.
They currently have a website and a London address, which looks legitimate at first glance, but the pattern of disappearing and reappearing accounts is concerning. I also recognized one of the reviewer names here from someone I previously communicated with, which makes me question whether some reviews may be self-submitted.
I truly hope my concerns turn out to be unfounded, but I wanted to share my experience so that other buyers can proceed with caution and do their due diligence.

We must make our position very clear. Selling counterfeit goods in the UK is a criminal offence. If we were selling fake items, you would be fully entitled to take legal action against us. We operate openly as a registered UK company, with a physical London office and a verifiable trading history. Under no circumstances would we jeopardise our business by engaging in illegal activity.
Equally, publicly stating or implying that a genuine item is counterfeit without evidence is a serious matter. If you continue to publish such claims without proof, we formally request that you provide your full legal name and supporting evidence. Please note that we reserve the right to take legal action to protect our reputation against defamatory statements.
It is also important to clarify that many of our customers have raised similar questions in the past. In those cases, they proceeded in a responsible and objective manner by sending their items to authoritative authentication institutions, such as Selfridges. The results consistently confirmed authenticity, and only then did they proceed with payment. This is the correct and professional way to address concerns.
If you genuinely have doubts, we do not understand why you would choose to post unverified public comments instead of arranging authentication with us. If our goods were not authentic, it would simply be impossible for this business to operate openly and continuously within the UK market and maintain a boutique in Bond Street.
Once again, we invite you to handle this matter factually rather than emotionally. If you have concerns, authentication — not speculation — is the correct course of action. You are welcome to contact us by email and visit our office with the bag and the original purchase records. We will gladly accompany you to an independent, authorised authentication institution.
We offer a triple-compensation authenticity guarantee, and in over ten years of operation across multiple countries, such a case has never occurred. We also operate from a prime central London location, maintain a physical boutique, and hold inventory valued at several hundred thousand pounds. It would be neither logical nor credible for a business operating at this level to risk its reputation, premises and long-term viability over a single counterfeit item.
