One sided APR increase

I feel cheated because the borrow APR has increased but the spend APR remains unchanged for my premium membership.

Easy to use, quick intelligent.

I think m1 is an easy platform to understand I just wish they had a dividend calendar or notifications for which dividends are coming and when even if it was only part of the subscription. Other than that platform is great for long term investing love the pie setup features and availability of basically everything etf,stocks and things of that nature.

I kept emailing support the identity…

I kept emailing support the identity info and they never would tell me a specific reason the info I upload was rejected. They would just send the same message that it was rejected and which forms were correct, when they could've told me that the statement I uploaded couldn't be used, and this would've saved me some time to upload different documents the next time around.

M1 is perfect for new investors.

M1 website is extremely easy to navigate and understand. As a new investor into the stock market, it has made the process not only financially rewarding but fascinating and enjoyable.
Couldn't be happier with my M1 experience.

Good but could be better

So far really enjoying the experience so far. There are only a few things I would do to improve
Add the ability to pause or lock auto invest / sell on single investments
The ability to set end goals on single investments ie invest till 100 shares of xyz
To be able to see estimated income real time without having to wait for statements portfolio/ single stocks

Love M1, still has some growing pains

I have been a customer since 2018. Have loved the value m1 brings to me the consumer. The only complaints are service efficiency and being trade restricted to two time windows (especially for those who use m1 borrow to invest). I emailed a question about margin to service over a week ago and have not gotten a response. I agree with the platform centering around long term wealth creation and preferring to stay away from day trading. However, to those that use m1 borrow to invest (which is encouraged by the company) not having the option to trade freely during the day adds unnecessary danger to customers unable to offload stocks in the case of big market moves like the ones we have been having recently. Huge moves are happening during the day and being so restricted on something that can end up being so ugly is, in my opinion, not a good situation. I would like to see more options for trading as well as more education resources and encouragement on wealth creation long term. Both strengthen the toolset of the customer.

I WOULD HAVE GIVEN 4 OR 5 STARS WERE IT NOT FOR THE FACT THAT YOU FAILED TO EVEN RESPOND TO MY WRITTEN CONCERNS REGARDING THE ANNOYING AND EXCESSIVE SECURITY EXERCISES YOU FORCE ACCOUNT HOLDERS TO TRAVERSE EACH TIME THEY TRY TO ACCESS THEIR ACCOUNTS.

Excellent except for the credit card

Excellent except for the credit card. Payments aren’t posted right away and credit limit is held even after payments have posted. Exceedingly frustrating and may be the reason I leave M1

Amazing potential... has become stale

I've always been a big M1 fan. The pie concept is truly cool and useful. However, I decided to for a few reasons:
1) I pay $125 and I don't really benefit from it.
2) Two trading sessions? Like... seriously?
3) Unable to restructure my pies without blowing up the stock history. For a prototype, OK. For M1, not OK. Why in the World can't I move stocks around pies without messing up the history? That makes no sense.
4) The UI feels "heavy", and with a lack of information at the user's fingertips.

My biggest beef is 1) not being able to buy/sell when I want to 2) not being able to control and organize my portfolio at will.

The autopay function on the credit card…

The autopay function on the credit card has not worked for the last 2 months (April/May of 2022). Last month it took M1 multiple business days to process my manual payment after their autopay system failed which led to me not being able to use the card for approximately a week. I missed out on approximately $1000.00 of reward eligible purchases because of this. Not the end of the world, but that is the reason I use this card. There is an option to leave a voicemail in an inbox that is checked by decision makers at M1, I did that and suggested that they look at my purchase history and credit me rewards equal to an average week of purchases (which still would have been less than the week in question as I was traveling for business that week) but never heard back and never received a credit. I checked on 6/1 to see if my May balance had been auto paid, and it had not. I'm not impressed.

M1 Review

Provide quick access to new stocks. For example, I wanted to invest in JEPQ and it's still not available. Provide an option to allow for automatic drip investment back into the same stock dividend originates from. Client's have to manually drip.

Can you add a ‘Dollar cost average’ button so I can set up how much I want it to invest per day or week.

Ex: I deposit 10k and want 1k a week to automatically invest.
