Ciara and Rachel are always so pleasant on each visit. They are calm and patient when my children are trying to choose glasses. We have been attending Mackeys for year now and have always had a nice experience with these girls.

My son have been going to Mackey Opticians for several years, 1st time with Optician Aaron, he was very good, give lots of info to my son about his eyes and explained his eye condition thoroughly.

Mackeys offer a truly personal experience. I have most recently dealt with Jenny who sorted prescription sunglass lenses for an old pair of frames I had, which was a super experience. Chris and Rachel have helped before and always been super helpful. Andrew is also an excellent optician, very knowledgeable, friendly and great to speak to. All round great team in the Church Lane branch.

The staff at the Ormeau Rd store were so incredibly helpful and professional. The optician Sorcha was very thorough and explained everything very well. And Sharon’s attention to detail and knowledge of the products is exceptional and her advice helped me choose frames that I absolutely love. I highly recommend.

Got some new glasses for Xmas from Rachel. She’s the best, very accommodating and couldn’t recommend the service anymore, wouldn’t go anywhere else to buy my glasses

I went and got myself and my sons eyes tested, my son was super nervous about maybe having to get glasses the girls put him at ease and were so lovely, when it came for me to picking my frames, I tried frames on over and over but this wasn't to much as Rachel wanted to make sure id pick the right fit for me she picked out frames that I loved. My daughters has been attending Portadown Mackey Opticians for years and the girls Ciara, Rachel and Elaine always go above and beyond in helping the girls with their prescription glasses, nothing is ever a hassle. They are all so lovely. Can't wait to see their new premises in portadown.

Great experience here with my kids. I've 4 kids and all have had eye tests with Mackey Opticians. The staff have been so good with the kids over the years. My kids require a lot of patience and the staff have been so good.
There's been a change to temporary premises but new place on the way.
Have never been to another optician to compare because we've never felt the need to.

Both the optician and receptionist treated my elderly Mother and Father with the utmost care and respect. Thorough eye tests and help with picking frames. Highly recommend.

I returned to the Portadown branch this week for an eye test knowing that I was need of new lenses. My check up with Aaron was great and he kept me informed throughout. Rachel and Ciara certainly know their frames and expertly found me the perfect pair of glasses. Their knowledge and helpfulness is invaluable. From start to finish, client service was first class.

Rachel was so friendly and helpful to me when choosing my first pair of glasses and safety glasses for work.

I had an appointment with the Church Lane, Belfast branch to have my regular eye test. It was carried out by Aaron who was very professional in everything he did, explaining to me in understandable terms exactly what each part of the test was measuring. I was then looked after by Rachel who helped me choose my new glasses without any pressure and leaving the choice up to me. I would recommend Mackeys in Church Lane to anyone considering to have their eyesight checked.
