Questionable judgement of management

The asset stripping of Thames Water in the UK reflects the principles by which the Macquarie Group operates. As a customer, I question the judgment of its management and would refrain from investing or partnering with the organisation.

“I bank with Macquarie” but not for long

Can’t get help and support
Can’t access my account online - I it’s impossible to talk or message anyone as it’s not Monday to Friday between 8:00 and 17:00
I open my 1st account with Macquarie about 20 years ago since then I have moved all my banking to Macquarie based on their service
Too bad they have offshored what they can’t get AI to do
Support is no existent - so I am going to be one of the many saying
“ I USED TO bank with Macquarie “

worst service

I’m extremely disappointed with the service at Macquarie Bank. My account access was locked, and despite numerous attempts to resolve the issue, I’ve been repeatedly transferred between teams with no resolution in sight. I’ve been told multiple times that someone would call me back, but nothing has been done. It’s frustrating to be left in the dark about why my access was restricted in the first place, and it seems like no one cares enough to address the problem. This has been a highly frustrating experience, and I hope others don’t have to go through the same ordeal.

they closed my online banking for no reason since 28th of january, still under review and i am unable to get a hold of my funds, they do not respond to my mails and the que on customer service line is unbearable. terrible just terrible.

Customer SUICIDE not a problem

Disgusting Attitude to customer SUICIDE. We all know that Macquarie Bank will spend millions of dollars to avoid acknowledging one lowly old customer's demands to be treated decently and heaven forbid, be given some justice.

I am at a point now where I will absolutely give my last breath to see Macquarie Bank treat me as a human being.
They performed an unnecessary and avoidable home foreclosure, and they gave advice on how suicide could be a workable option for my family.
They unethicality-sized RTA land acquisition funds we were relying on to finish the very profitable home renovation.
Years later when we crossed paths they offered Mental Health Support and then GOOSTED me, causing several more years of distress and another string of suicidal schemes intended to force them into acknowledging their depravity in the way they dealt with me.
Not to mention Macquarie Bank's Customer Advocate and Macquarie Bank's Head of Customer Complaints lack of due diligence in investigating my more recent complaints, regarding the avoidable home foreclosure, the information they handed over to me information giving me sound understanding that my timely suicide would free my wife to sell instead of being foreclosed on and made homeless.Not to mention the lie they told AFCA that we had been advised of a particular time frame to challenge their decisions.
Not to mention there lies about not having a protocol for operators to hang up on customers.
Not to mention many other disgusting policies they have to persuade customers from taking action.
Did I mention that Macquarie Bank uses a customer's MENTAL HEALTH against them to shut down AFCA claims? "Macquarie Bank Horror Stories" for website, YouTube, Facebook, Twiter, gofundme

BANK AND INVEST ELSEWHERE

I called your bank as my account had been locked. I was overseas in Copenhagen at the time. I was stranded with no money!

I did not have access to my account for three or more days. It was disgusting customer service and a unprofessional moron that I had to talk to, deliberately froze my accounts. I had NO ACCESS to MY OWN MONEY. I gave a international telephone number to have a return call, THEY DID NOT CALL BACK!! I had no money to add to the credit on my phone to even call back... The Moron (Bank Rep) I was talking to, knew this, and they were told multiple times I was running out of credit.. I asked to speak to a Supervisor and this was refused.

I am absolutely furious on how I was treated and left stranded overseas, due to Macquarie Bank mistake. They do not care for their account holders.

I did not hear back from Macquarie Bank. Clearly didn't care. and I moved my money to a more reputable bank.
