Easy to book and Maison Sport customer service good. Sadly all mail and communication with the guide goes into junk which is an annoying start and loses 1* for this.

Choosing a ski guide though maison…
Choosing a ski guide though maison sport was better than ESF because we got to select our coach to make a good fit for what we were looking for. The prices are not cheap but this is standard for this type of experience.

Amazing instructor
We booked an instructor, Tomas who was amazing! We booked him to help teach my 9 year old son who was on his first skiing trip and to refresh mine and my mums skiing as we hadn’t been in 20 years. My son was skiing confidently after the second day and can now ski red slopes happily and quickly! He learnt so much and so quickly from Tomas who was great with him. He also helped me and my mum feel confident again.

Worthwhile experience
It was easy to find and book a last minute off-piste private guide with different time slots (and prices) on the website. Skiing with Alexandra was also such a joy I had so much fun and learned new ski tips.

Amazing instructors
Amazing instructors, we booked Fabio and Marino in Montgenerve and both were excellent. They taught both children age 10 and 8 to ski in a day. They also helped me get back on the slopes after 11 years. Would definitely book either of these instructors again.

Pure bliss in Cervinia
What a trip we had, Francesca absolutely nailed it for us. It was myself , my 15yr old son and 13yr old daughter, and Francesca made the trip almost magical, with a mixture of lessons, free running and awesome restautant advice, as well as some nice bits of history about the area. She quickly gauged our skill levels and knew when to push, when to hold back and what particular areas to concentrate on at any given moment. She was a pleasure to deal with and my kids think it was the best ski lessons they'd every had. We had her for four days, and the only downside is my kids are now too good for me to ski with anymore they advanced so much! Back to a snowboard for me in order to keep up!

We had a fantastic day with Jerome
We had a fantastic day with Jerome. From start to finish it was a great experience with clear, friendly and reassuring communication from the start. He showed incredible patience with my teenagers breaking down techniques in a way that kept them engaged and confident and, even throwing in a few tricks of going backwards for my adventurous son. When needed Jerome showed great support to my daughter who needed a little extra reassurance when facing the more difficult runs. I also learned a lot myself which will improve both my skiing and confidence. What made the lessons even more special was Jerome's knowledge of the mountains and the local wildlife. It added a new layer of appreciation to our time on the slopes. We covered a huge variety of the terrain over the day, making every run feel fun, safe and exciting. The ski over to Val d'sere to the little bakery was a fantastic treat for lunch. I would highly recommend Jerome for families, beginners and anyone looking to have an enjoyable time on the mountains with an instructor who delivers skill, passion and knowledge. The Sutton Family

We were forced to cancel due to the war…
We were forced to cancel due to the war in Israel and the suspension of all flights, making travel impossible.
Despite this being entirely beyond our control and cancelling in advance, no refund or partial refund was offered. The instructor chose to apply the policy rigidly without any consideration of the circumstances.
Very disappointing experience, especially given the situation. I would strongly advise others to be aware of the strict cancellation terms before booking.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are very sorry to hear about the difficult circumstances that prevented you from travelling and how disappointing this must have been.
As a marketplace, we act as the booking agent between customers and instructors and are therefore bound by the agreed terms and conditions, including the cancellation policy chosen by the instructor. These policies exist to protect instructors from loss of income when lessons have been booked and in this case, the instructor was available and prepared to deliver the lessons as scheduled.
We sympathise with your situation but we are contractually obligated to uphold the cancellation terms, which is why we were unable to offer a refund or partial refund in this instance. We did check with the instructor if they were happy to refund but unfortunately they wanted to follow to the cancellation policy, as the booking was due to start in less than a week. These terms are standard across the industry and we are sorry that you found them to be inflexible.
