I signed up for the black belt program and took coaching from Tauseef Charanya. Tauseef provided very thorough feedback on my performance, and tangible steps to improve. I certainly had a step change improvement in my performance as a result.

I also extensively used the content in Black Belt. The tips on networking and mental math are the best content across all the other offerings in the market. A few years on, I continue to use BB casing material and industry insights to touch up on my skills.

I had a great experience with the online modules and case coaches at MC. Catherine Lee and Maile Dyer were both amazing coaches and really helped me with structured feedback. Definitely helped me a lot with guiding the case and structuring the responses more efficiently!

Maile was a big help in preparing for the case interview. She offered feedback that was clearly tailored to me and drills to help improve.

Had a great experience with my coach George Cary. I had no experience whatsoever doing casing and found it very daunting at first, but George was very clear and concise with his feedback and areas to improve on. I had an amazing experience so far with George Cary and Management Consulted. He is so great at teaching the fundamentals, while also sharing areas to shine and stand out as an interviewee. I was originally very nervous to start case prep, and he has made me feel so much more comfortable and confident!!

I went into consulting recruiting with zero casing background, which felt pretty daunting at first. Working with George Cary through Management Consulted, that changed fast. Sessions were structured but never felt like a script. After a few weeks I noticed I was adapting to unfamiliar case types instead of freezing up or forcing a memorized framework onto everything.

The PEI side ended up being just as valuable, maybe more so since I'd underrated how much it mattered going in. My stories got sharper and more specific with each round, to the point where they actually answered what interviewers were probing for instead of just sounding like a good anecdote.

Management Consulted has very strong coaches to get you ready for MBB interviews. I want to give a special mention to George Cary — he is great, patient, and very knowledgeable about the consulting recruiting / interview process.

I was preparing for my McKinsey interviews, and my casing skills improved exponentially working with him. He knows exactly what the interviewers are looking for and gives you feedback you can actually use. He never rushed me, never made me feel like I was asking too many questions, and every session I walked away better than I came in.

He also prepared me very well for the PEI. That part of the McKinsey process is easy to underestimate, and George helped me get my stories to where they needed to be.

Just a great coach all around. If you are prepping for your consulting interviews, I would recommend him without hesitation.

Honestly? Not great, but not bad. Their content is incredibly dated for what you’ll get in a real interview. It will give you the basics and help you understand the structure of cases, but definitely won’t prepare you for a 2nd-final round.

The coaches are fine (knowledge-wise), but don’t expect a patient, kind coach. I always left discouraged after my sessions because I felt their feedback was way too harsh to even call it “actionable or constructive”. However, it still helped me identify my weaknesses, so that was helpful.

I’d try other options if I had the chance to invest in a course or 1:1s, all over again!
