My story in brief:

I contacted Samir at 7.30am on a Saturday morning, he called me back in the next 2 minutes and reassured me that he would settle my delay repay drama with Northern Rail (my fault entirely that I got myself into this mess). I had a zoom meeting with Samir on Monday morning to go through the case and it was successfully settled out of court on Thursday (today).

I can't put it in words how grateful I am to Samir. He has totally delivered what he said he would in just 3 days, even though he didn't promise such a quick turnaround. If you are feeling anxious about your situation with Northern Rail (or any other train company as I believe he deals with all of them), I can highly recommend Samir without hesitation.

‼️Disappointment with other firms‼️
Before finding Mr. Samir’s firm, I had contacted another law firm, but the experience was extremely disappointing. They asked for my payslip right away, and I suspected they used my income level to decide what kind of service I would get. Because my income was modest, they assigned me a trainee solicitor.

That trainee solicitor started reading my documents only during our paid consultation, reading them word by word without preparation. He didn’t appear experienced, gave no opinions or direction, and the session ended up being a complete waste of my time.

That’s when I decided to look for another firm — and luckily, I found Mr. Samir. I truly feel fortunate to have discovered his firm.

I first reached out on a Saturday, and the experience was excellent from the very beginning. I submitted all the necessary documents through their website, saving me the hassle of back-and-forth emails. I didn’t expect to be contacted the same day, but one of the team members reached out promptly and asked for additional documents. By Monday morning, they had already scheduled a consultation with me for that afternoon.

Throughout the entire process, their responses were always prompt, which made me feel genuinely cared for.

Mr. Samir is a lawyer with true integrity. He didn’t try to offer false hope just to earn legal fees. In fact, he told me very honestly that my previous actions (I had written a letter to TFL on my own) had made the situation worse, and that my chances of success were only about 10%. He let me decide whether to proceed and even said he didn’t want to waste my money. That honesty truly impressed me. I still decided to move forward, and I’m glad I did.

‼️Reasonable pricing‼️
The firm offers various service packages at different price points, making it easier for people to choose according to their needs and financial situation.

My advice is: at a critical moment like this, don’t try to cut corners to save money. Many people contact law firms every day, so I didn’t hesitate to choose the fastest service option — and that decision proved to be the right one.

Lastly, I’m also grateful for the mental health expert Mr. Samir recommended. She was kind, patient, and incredibly supportive.

This can happen to anyone, really. I had got off the wrong stop and gone to the train official myself to let them know- I am not so long in the UK, so I assumed the best thing was to go and let them know about the situation. They took my details and I had got an email where they had pulled all my travel history from 1 year ago, asking me my entry and exit points (most of which I didn't remember), as well as some cancelled tickets which for some reason they assumed I travelled on. I went online and got a few recommendations on who to contact. Manak reached out and it was so very seamless from first conversation to settlement email. I really would recommend Samir, and the firm. It's a 4.99 star I am rating them and the only reason I am not giving a full 5 star is for some very minor reason.

I chose Samir specifically due to the number of exceptional reviews he had and throughout the whole process Samir was nothing short of exceptional. He is clearly very knowledgable in this area, however he was also very empathetic throughout. Samir provided honest assessments, never over-promised and made assurances throughout. He said the process would take around 4 weeks and we were able to settle at around the 3 week mark.

Many people mentioning Samir's arrogance aren't exaggerating. He often comes across as condescending and tends to interrupt while you're explaining. Throughout my fare evasion case, I didn’t feel supported—it felt as though he had already judged me before even taking on my situation.

For context, I was a university student who unknowingly traveled with an expired railcard. Instead of offering guidance, Samir mostly just forwarded emails from the train company with little communication beyond that. There were no phone calls, very minimal advice, and hardly any support. I often felt too nervous to ask questions, and after becoming increasingly frustrated, I eventually had to ask him to be a bit kinder in his approach.

What was particularly concerning was that he repeatedly insisted he didn’t need any further evidence because he had already "concluded" the matter. That left me feeling dismissed rather than represented.

My honest advice: take time to read reviews and find a lawyer who is not just focused on closing the case and getting paid, but someone who genuinely wants to help and support you through a difficult process.
